Sony europe is just recongnizing their base.

Singstar is going to sell PS3's

Soccer games life FIFA are going to sell PS3's

The PSP is popular in Europe

Why would they talk about American and Japanese games when your base for the convention is Europe.

azimiballer

Yea americans seem to forget that in the UK theres only 4 channels on your standard TV. A HD Sky tuner for a psp of all things is a huge thing.

u dont know what ur talking about... i visited my cousins a while back in holland and on their standard tv's they have 30 freakin channels for free.. everything from discovery to nick. they even have a standard feature where u can keep track of everything in the city.. its a menu option that lets u know about airplaine arrive and departue times, and all these other cool stuff... so don't say they only get 4 channels...

You do realize that Europe is not one country, right? Your cousins who live in Holland do not live in the U.K. How can you say this guy doesn't know what he's talking about regarding lack of channels in the U.K. by mentioning 30 free channels in Holland? That's like me saying America has free healthcare, my buddy up in Canada never has to pay to go to the doctor.

 The title had me thinking that BD had grown sentient :lol:AnFangs_Endes

What, your blu-ray games and movies don't sneak into your room at night and whisper messages into your ear? I guess it really is just me then...

How dare you! Disney classics rule... well most of them anyway:P

stevoluvmunch

i will concede to loving alladin. Child hood favorite of mine. great genesis game as well. BUT I can just donwload that off my 360. dont get your panties in a bunch i also have a ps3 but disney movies are exclusively on the 360 for download i believe. And gizmo ive already destroyed all your logic in our other 50 posts scattered through this forum. I wont waste any more energy on you.

Download HD movies? No thanks, I'll take em on Blu-ray, I have better uses for my hard drive than to fill it up with only a handful of movies.

I think it's a good thing if in fact games have fewer cheat codes in them. When the Game Genie first came out way back when, Nintendo tried to sue Galoob, saying they were lessening the long-term value of their games, and I think they were right. Take a challenging game that make take you weeks to beat, but throw on a cheat code and you can beat it easily in a few hours. How much incentive do you really have to play it again? I think the devs oughta not include any, and intentionally put in code so that when people use those game shark or code-breaker or whatever discs that are out for any major game it will cause a crash. If the game is too hard, play on 'easy,' and if it is still too hard, go play Hello Kitty Island Adventure instead. Unless you need to use cheats for that one too.

Bushido Blade 1 ROCKED! Bushido Blade 2 made no sense at all and the gameplay was okay at best. I would love a Bushido Blade 3 though. I think I recall a Samurai game that's in the works (or out already by now) that was like Bushido Blade on steroids. I think it was called Way of the Samurai or something. Hmm...There was another game about samurai that was pretty sweet too...I think it was on the PS2 though I can't recall what its name was either. Crap memory.Teyon

There is a Way of the Samurai 3 in development. The first 2 were PS2 games. They weren't terrible, well the second wasn't anyway as far as samurai games go, but they weren't vs. fighting games with one-hit kills, or disabling arms and legs like the Bushido Blades.

Too many good games to get em all this year, I'll probably get

Warhawk

Heavenly Sword

Assassin's Creed

Folklore

Rock Band

Hopefully the good 08 games will be several months into 08 to give me time to catch up on some of the other 07 games I missed. I still need to get NG Sigma, and the Darkness, and I'm sure a few more that are due out in 07 that I can't think of right now.

sufferthorn. yes, any enchanted items will kill ppl faster than a normal weapon. but if youre gonna do the arena, wait until you finish the brotherhood questline, cause one of your daggers will get PIMPED OUT and its really good, especially if youre under level 20 or soballasteve

The Dark Brotherhood dagger is pretty good after it gets the upgrade at the end, but it's not really worth using, in my oppinion. It has so many effects, that it drains a crapload of charge with every swing. In order to make it even half-way usable, they gave it an impossibly high level of magika capacity, but it still is empty after killing one thing. And that high capacity just means it costs a LOT to get recharged (or uses a LOT of grand sould gems, if you recharge em yourself). Besides, Marksmanship pwns all other weapons in Oblivion, get a good bow (or two, or three) and use that instead. Killing the Gray Prince at lvl 10 before he could even get accross the arena to swing was priceless.

Might be quicker just to grind up to 10th. You have to do a lot of quests for all the different Mage's Guild leaders before you get access to the Guild HQ in the capital.

If you are over level 10, you can do the quest for the skeleton key (lockpick that never breaks). Also, you can join the thieves' Guild to get access to fences, they sell lockpicks (the first fence has 100, and replenishes his stock fairly quickly). Or, you can join the Mages' Guild, get access to the University where you can make your own spells, then make a spell that gives you like +50 security skill for about 2 seconds and cast it right before you go into the lockpicking screen (spell effects do not expire when in lockpicking mode, so the duration is not important and lower the duration, easier it is to cast). Also, just practice. A lot. Lockpicking is pretty easy, once you get a feel for it.
