GTHD Concept is hardly a full game. It's more a tech demo of what GT would look like for ps3. There's what, 8 cars? 2 tracks? That's not a full Gran Turismo game. GT5 is going to be a full game.
that's what I implied f***tard. Sony list it as a full game.
Wow, doesn't take much to set you off does it? Sorry I didn't see where you 'implied' what I said.

I'm assuming this was directed at me, for getting Marvel and Tony Hawk when I bought my PS3. Here's a few reasons...
1. Because Wii is lame?
2. Just because a given multi-plat game is available on last gen systems like Wii or PS2 doesn't mean the PS3 version, or 360 for that matter, isn't better.
3. Just because the two games I bought with the system are multi-plats doesn't mean I didn't intend on getting other games later.
4. Blu-ray is a better HD movie format than the one that comes with the Wii.
5. I have yet to be let down by a Sony console, can't say the same for Nintendo.
6. Did I mention Wii is lame?
Uhh, you said you got games you and your wife could play if I remember. Since the Wii is obviously aimed at more non gamers, I assumed that wouldn't be a poor choice.
And also, its not a lame system. The only thing it lacks is a descent library of games.
My wife isn't a non-gamer. Not as avid as me (What with me majoring in game programming). We always enjoyed playing games like Dark Alliance together, so Marvel, being that the gameplay was similar, was a natural choice. And we've both enjoyed Tony Hawk games in the past. If I implied that she was a non-gamer when I said we wanted to play games together, i appologize for not explaing better.
Ok, the wii is not a lame system. But it is not on par with the PS3, or even the 360. It lacks the power and graphics to really be considered 'Next Gen.' In fact, all it really has is the 'innovative' controller. Basically, they are targetting non-gamers and using a gimmick to sell systems. By gimmick, I mean its fun and all, and great for parties, but everyone I know who is a 'gamer' and has had a wii for over 4-6 months, has all but stopped playing itcompletely and moved on to another console. Except when they have a lot of people over who have never played wii-sports before. Their targetting non-gamers is brilliant in a way, as they are selling systems like crazy. I kind of wonder though about the long-term value. The money in the game industry is in games, not systems. Most systems LOSE money on each unit, at least for the first several years. So wii sells many many units, but all the non-gamers they sell to may only buy 1-2 games per year. As opposed to the PS3/360 gamers, who may buy 1-2 or more per month. Ok, sorry for the wii-rant. We just had a big discussion about this very thing in class the other day.

Huh, how typical. Almost everyone has not even seen the gameplay footage of RE5 yet, so they automatically vote MGS4. It's like asking if you like cake or pie, but someone votes pie because he has never eaten cake before. As if that person's answer is of any significance to the original question in retrospective.jhcho2
No, it's like asking if you want cake or pie when the pie is out of the oven and getting ready to get sliced and smells all yummy... and the cake is still in the mixing bowl, but the picture on the cake mix box looks pretty good.
