Either Tetris for the GameBoy, or Mario Golf for the NES.

I was absolutely addicted to NES Open (wasn't Mario Golf until N64, I believe), but the first game I was probably "addicted" to was Midnight Madness (pinball game for the Atari).
I smashed a Nintendo GameCube, have broken countless controllers with various methods, broke my hand (whilst punching the floor), and destroyed a recliner in my video game career. Needlesstosay, I don't play as much as I used to...with the economy being the way it is and all. Ha ha.
And, to keep on topic with the previous couple of posts, I am in the media (albeit sports journalism), and I love video games. I don't get to play quite as much as I used to, but that doesn't stop me from liking them whether they are violent or not. I think the PSN thing was a failure, but poo happens. That was more on the Sony company than gamers/gaming in general. As far as coming down hard on gaming, yeah, the overall "sensationalist" media will take anything and blow it out of proportion. Just try to watch Fox News for a whole day. It's impossible because it's the same stupid story with almost no details, and they try to push the fear factor of the story to make people scared to go outside.
As for the "age" of the media, I think the majority of people in the media are younger than 35. It's just that the most influential people are the Rush Limbaughs and the Bill O'Reily's of the world. Why? Because people love biggots with no brain. That's a fact.
There are some funny comments and mass confusion going on in this thread. Great stuff. I'm American, and I obviously think Bin Laden is a dirtbag P.O.S., but I don't think he was killed justifiably. I think they should've held him hostage and tortured him to get all the Al Qaeda info possible. I don't like torture or murder in most cases, but Bin Laden has the power to pull a lot of strings in the world of terrorists, and killing him just infuriates this pyschologically unstable population. I don't think he was hated by a lot of Muslim people like Sadaam Hussein was when Hussein was killed. Hence, no one retaliated in that instance. I think Bin Laden was seen as a heroic figurehead to a lot of downtrodden people in the Middle East. I will never stand up for the man. I just think we could've gotten some good info from his brain by getting him to take strides in creating a more "peaceful" world. It's always a sticky situation when you try to promote peace by being violent. Each side has to do dirty and shady things to try to counteract the "evil" they see.
I feel like nobody here thinks they are "bad" people. I'd rather be left in a world with "bad" people than a bunch of "good" people. All the "good" people in the world are horribly selfish and like to blame other people for bad things happening to them. Take responsibility for your problems, and we will get along just fine. That's all I can ask from "good" or "bad" people in the world. Drugs, sex, race, greed (whatever) don't necessarily make people "bad." It's their abuse of anything that makes them idiotic and horrible wastes of flesh.
Well, considering most things gamers say while playing games is fueled by anger, there is a lot of dumb stuff out there. Most of it is homophobic and super violent, but that's because they are idiotic 16-year old kids who don't know what the meaning of most of the stuff they say is. But to be fair, when I play, I get so pissed off sometimes that I break stuff (like a ton of controllers, a Nintendo Gamecube, a recliner, my pinky, etc...) ha ha ha.
Monsturd, Gingerdead Man, Human Centipede, Descent, ummm....I think most horror films are bad. I liked Piranha 3D a lot though. It was mostly a comedy/porn/horror wannabe. Funny stuff.
Yeah, the whole card up to the main event was awesome. The main event was what I expected, but it's okay because GSP just wants to keep his winning ways. Shields didn't have any plan to win the fight. Nobody ever does. GSP is physically better than all the other welterweights. As an MMA journalist and broadcaster, I have been covering this stuff for 3 years professionally, and I have never seen someone dominate every round of every fight for so long. Machida was a beast for doing that for a while, and now there is Jon Jones...that guy is incredible.
Why the eff do the links never work on this p.o.s.? It gets annoying. Do you have to be at a certain level or something, because I can't create a link. It just deletes the damn text. So annoying.
