Yeah, the English have a way about making regional dialects a popular thing even though the country is 1/3 the size of California. We have regional dialects in America, but our country is as big as Europe. So, I think it is confusing for Americans to understand specific dialects of the UK's English, but it's no different than trying to understand someone from Louisiana. It's generally a mish-mash of local phrases and dramatic accents that make it difficult. I do a radio show with two Brits, and sometimes I can't understand what they are trying to say just because it slurs together sometimes. Ha ha. If you get time, check it out MMABay Radio. Also, we do Rhinoballs.com together. Crazy Brits are always fun to poke a little fun at. Especially when it comes to the "footy."

In related news, I just recently predicted that the world will end on 5-22-11, and if that doesn't work, then the next day...and so on and so on...until the world finally DOES end, then I will look like a GENIUS!

People who abuse fundamental physical laws by imprecisely misapplying them to complex macroscopic phenomena make me sad. I'm filing this next to 'Newton's third law explains geopolitics'.

And, yes, I do realize that it is not used in context, but this is how it is implied quite often. I used it more as a Lamen's term to try to explain how Science doesn't prove any thing with 100% certainty.

With that statement right there, you are an embarrassment to everything that atheists stand for.

I just about pooped my pants laughing on this one. Ha ha

I was actually gonna say "kill them all" as well, because it's part of my favorite phrase "Kill them all, and let god sort them out." But I am gonna change my original phrase that I posted earlier to my REAL last three words.

"It wasn't me."

It seems to me that if you have to decipher someone's English because they are too dumb to spell and punctuate, then you should make new friends. That's how I roll. Ha ha

V was a terrible show. I only watched about the first 4 episodes, but I wanted to punch my face off from how boring it was. Chuck is actually pretty decent, but I haven't watched it lately, because it's kinda getting stale (probably why they only are doing 1 more episode). The Event was trash. Fizzled out just like FlashForward (which, would've been an awesome show if they didn't try to make a second season...they set it up, and then it got its ass cancelled).

Lie To Me was good for like 3 episodes, but I agree with whoever said it is a waste of Tim Roth's time. Like 5 years ago, I classified him as the most underrated actor in Hollywood, and I pegged him to win an Academy Award at some point in the next 10 years. He can't do that on TV.

The best thing about Human Target was the commercials. So, all and all, yeah, these all made sense to cancel. I never saw The Chicago Code, but it looked exactly like Southland or NYPD Blue or Detroit 1-8-7 or .....yeah, I hate the stupid amount of cop and CSI shows on TV. If we would all actually have a pallette for culture, then this crap wouldn't keep cropping up.

I seriously wish MTV would cancel Jersey Shore, but it will never happen. That's their only source of real revenue nowadays. It's too bad they cancelled Warren The Ape. That show was hilarious. I still watch my Greg The Bunny DVD from time to time. Dan Milano is the new Jim Henson.

The comments about scientific fact is hard to claim. Science doesn't ACTUALLY prove anything to be a fact. It is used to disprove things as facts more. The Heisenburg Uncertainty Principle is just one idea used to show that nothing can really be certain. Just because gravity has worked so far, doesn't mean that at some moment we won't just float off the earth for some reason. (Just playing Devil's Advocate here)

I wouldn't say I "believe" in things (because people are usually willing to die for their beliefs) not considered scientific fact, but I think for sure there is some alien life form (even if it's at the cellular level)...which I believe they have found evidence on Mars of fossil life (of microscopic life). That's pretty big for the universal theory that God created life on Earth...because there is now also life on Mars. I'm certainly not religious, but I'm not sure why people are wrapped up in this "god" theory.

I think there is also probably some way to time travel....we gotta figure it out just for our amusement. Lol
