I believe for every major "incident" in the world, there is a crap load of cover up going on to make it seem either not a big deal or a much bigger deal than it is. For example, WMD's in Iraq. Where were they again? Don't worry, it's not a big deal now, because we've already killed Saddam and obliterated the central government in Iraq. Also, 9/11, Roswell, JFK...all of these incidents are half-truths that have been carefully crafted over the years to make the public confused about whether or not the incidents were actually conspired to happen. The simple fact is that we have no way of controlling what lies our government can feed us. We have no actual evidence to claim one thing or another. All we have is what WE DON'T see. That's what bothers me the most. We have to formulate theories based on what information isn't being given to us. I used to want to be a politician, because I wanted to get all this evidence and throw it into the public light, but really the politicians are only told what they are supposed to hear from their parties. That way no one is ever to blame for misinformation. Stupid government.

With me, it's more about trying to put as many as I can on and still make it taste good. That way, you can literally have millions of options. I'm not a fan of anchovies and that's about it. Every thing else is fair game. :)
It actually almost made 3 billion dollars (like 2.6 billion or something)...second place Titanic is a FULL billion behind (also James Cameron). Yeah, he's got his money.i doubt james cameron cares if you dislike his film which made over a billion dollars at the box office. soooooooooo, meh

Was Friday on the radio somewhere, because I had only heard about it from YouTube. I never heard it on the radio, so the only way I know that people could've heard it is from clicking PLAY on YouTube over and over and over. So, it would be your own fault. I live in Vegas, and I've never heard it on any radio station or in any capacity. In fact, I have only heard part of the song from Tosh.O. So, I can't hate on the song, because I've never listened to it. Seems like others are letting their subconscious do their picking. Ha ha. I am sure SOMEWHERE in the world had it on the radio, but I've never heard it.
Top 5 WORST songs:
5.) Tempted by Squeeze (you know the song, "Tempted by the fruit of another...tempted but the truth is discovered"...AWEFUL
4.) With Arms Wide Open by Creed
3.) She Hates Me by Puddle of Mudd
2.) Pokerface by Lady Gaga
1.) Dungeon Dragon by Nicki Minaj
There are definite other songs that I would like to put up there as "THE WORST SONG OF ALL TIME", but these were the 5 that I hate the most today.
After reading all of these comments, another annoying fad that came up is kids acting like "conformists" is a disease. If you are saying that other people are "conformists" you are probably one of those pansies who turned to goth or emo because you just think everyone else is lame for not acting like a vampire. I was raised well before the "vamp" and "emo" scene caught on with kids, but, holy horsecrap, this generation of suburban pansies really gets my goat. Just act like a man regardless of if you use books or brawn to do it. I was never a big dude, but I didn't take crap from anybody, and I got along with pretty much all different kids at my school. If you are calling people "conformists", it is most likely you won't get laid until after college unless it's by some trampy fat chick who gives blow jobs to emo kids to prove she doesn't care about her sexuality.
Now that the rant is over, I just have to say, I like this topic, but seriously I am sick of SOME of these 15-year olds acting like metrosexual GLEEtards. It's not that I'm hating on effeminate gays or gay people. I am hating on effeminate hetero people for acting effeminate because TV shows are making it seem cool. Not cool. Be your damn self. End.
Ha ha...I just said that was overrated. Maybe I am the crazy one. I've seen it twice and just don't care about the guy. He's a lame main character.
I did forget to mention a classic: New Jack City. I used to watch that **** all the time when I was younger.
I think a lot of the best ones have definitely been picked up on by other's here already:
The Usual Suspects, Snatch, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Reservoir Dogs, Boondock Saints, etc....
Some missed if you haven't seen them: Pulp Fiction, Lucky Number Slevin (pretty good), Domino (not great, but good), Bronson, RocknRolla (okay), Smokin' Aces, Serpico....
Some that were listed that aren't that great: A Prophet (highly overrated as a "gangster" movie), Public Enemies (very repetitive), Scarface wasn't listed, but it is super overrated (though Pacino is great, the movie is pretty lazy).
Pretty much all fads are dumb, but they always come around.
Angry Birds, Hyper-colored T-Shirts, Roller Blades, Boy Bands, Pogs, MAGIC: The card Game, Hammer Pants, Bell Bottom Pants, the list is seriously endless....
I disagree with nearly everything you said.[QUOTE="isaackuhlman"]
Blink-182 actually did get better. That's an accurate statement. The only bands that get "better" are the bands that start together when they are really young and play together for a long time. Also, being "better" doesn't mean they make "better music" (I'm looking at you Dave Matthews Band). Guns N Roses got WAY better, but some of their music struggled as a result. They didn't come off as bad asses anymore either...they came off as musical components to a larger "thing."
I would say even a band like Jimmy Eat World has gotten better. Musically they are actually pretty damn good. Yeah, they are really poppy, but they make some pretty good songs that aren't on the radio too. Kings of Leon has gotten a LOT better over the years. They were kind of annoying to start. Now they can make some pretty good music. Rx Bandits became monstrously better over time. I don't know if they still make music, but damn they were good after that Progress album.
Most of my favorite bands go down hill though (i.e. Weezer, Coheed, etc...)

Blink 182 is not an accurate statement. I love everyone of their albums, they went from Punk-Punk Rock. I love their old stuff because its like immature punk and it brings me back to junior high.
Saying Guns N's Roses got WAY better is ridiculous (I know I know opinions) but any fan of the band would have to agree that the album they put out a few years back is more like Axel Rose goes solo, and Appetite for Destruction (their first album) is one of the greatest albums of all time. (Come on -Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child of Mine, Paradise City, Night Train, theres no one on earth who hasn't heard these songs)
I dunno what you're definition of better is.
Dave Matthews Band's first album is my favourite just because it is such a positive happy, good feeling album.
Kings of Leon has gotten annoying over the last 3 years mainly because of the radio and mainstream, and their new album seemed to be a rushed piece that a group of previous grammy winners had to poop out to keep the crowd entertained. I know its just opinions, - but
tl;dr - Blink 182 getting better - don't call that accurate - you aren't a true GnR fan - and what do you mean "better"?
Yeah, you must be a true G'N'R fan. I don't consider anything after the spaghetti incident GnR. So, Chinese Democracy and all that crap is a waste of explanation here. I am talking of course of talent and efforts put into their first 4 albums. They did get better. Spaghetti Incident was weird, but I liked it. Axl Rose is a horrible singer now, so it's like comparing a good band to one where my grandpa becomes the lead singer.
Blink 182 reminds you of junior high? That's funny.
I believe I even defined what I meant by "better". Bands get more talented, and they make better albums. Blink 182 certainly fits in that mold as does everyone else I described. DMB got better and made worse albums...you agreed there. Not really sure what you were arguing when you agreed with almost everything I said. You just started in a backwards agreeing fashion. Kings of Leon don't control the radio, and neither do I. Hence, why I stopped listening to the radio 15 years ago. You remind me of the Lagwagon song "Know It All" (not because you know anything, because that's obvious, but for this line)...."and a lot of the bands on the college charts are great bands 'til they get signed, and you hate them...it's such bulls**t, you used to love them you hypocrite."
