In a world of reboots and remasters, this is one of those times I would have been all for a remastered version of the first game that started it all.

I ain't gonna lie, when I first saw the article title, I got a bit excited, but after reading, I became a little deflated.

Bummer, was hoping for a closer release date. Oh well, if its as good as the 1st season, I'm all over it.

It would be a welcomed change to me (being a pc player) I would love to be able to try the game with no strings attached to see if I like it, than to buy a game, and either go over the 2 hour mark by accident, or have to go through the whole refund process.

@stunningham: since the market has been so 'saturated' in recent years, you can't really depend on prices from TCG, but use resale sites such as eBay, as the standard, and while the prices have come down a bit in the last couple years (mainly from people using that pandemic money from the government on bullshit they didn't need) the prices have been leveling off every since.

The original trailer I seen, I didn't really think much of it, but the trailer shown at the Guardians of the galaxy vol.3 preview looked pretty good.

I might go see it.

@stunningham: those TCG prices you quoted are ungraded unlimited (non 1st edition) base set prices.

the ungraded "shadowless" prices (especially 1st edition holograph shadowless base set cards) are worth much more.

The price greatly increases if graded (depending on the grade)
