@gamespotgunners You are right, but notice that I'm limiting my comparison to the same industry, not between genres which would be another discussion. Still, that doesn't change the fact that some games are short and others are long.
As you point out, some shooters are very short, and like Borderlands 2 does fit in the shooter genre as most of the game is all about putting holes onto enemies, we come around 360 degrees, some are short some are long.
@dewrain Sorry, you are comparing 2 different things here. Think of it. One is a social event, where you get together with other people you care for, go out, have fun together, etc...a game can be compared more to a movie rental than your friendly neighborhood cinema because you stay home and use it.
But really, I think games can only be compared between each other, game vs game, because of the unique form of entertainment they offer, and in that sense, this game is in the short side of the spectrum if compared to a game like Borderlands 2 to mention a long game.
This just confirms people had to buy a second and third console. This piece of crap is no doubt the worst quality in a console ever, sad because it's pretty powerful.
I said gameover to microsoft when my first one had to be replaced and the second one didn't last a full year.
I liked SR3 but I have issues with Steelport, it's a pretty boring and bland setting, they should really up their ante on world structure and variety.
This super power formula might work great if done correctly, if they're gonna give you freedom give it completely, allow vertical gameplay, not just parachutes, but climbing or jumping on to rooftops like in Crackdown.
