@quantumtheo @100proofsoco yeah, what you wrote is exactly my viewpoint, I just wasn't gonna write it all down, I get enough writing at college, so thanks for writing this long piece that I'm sure represents the views of too many that like me couldn't write it all.

@playniko69 True, it has been a while since I've been to a forum during game production to speak my honest opinions on how a game could improve. The mass casual market took over and everyone wants to make crappy CoD style cinematic shit.

@hateyourface Yeah, the trend is established, but next gen will completely embrace it.

It will happen, in the near future games will be turned into absurd hollywood action flicks, a lot of flash but no bang experiences, substance deficient, beautifully rendered scenes with some button pressing here and there. It's pathetic, but that's what the casual market likes and that will be the final destination, and I will have a new hobby and alternate forms of entertainment then. Very sad indeed.

I will save Crytek's reputation: What they really meant was graphics are 6% of a game, that zero at the end has no value, it was a typo.

Completely agree, I had to borrow a Win 8 laptop from a colleague and I was completely lost and couldn't get anything done, It was like I needed to take up to Introduction to Computers class all over again. Ridiculous UI, it needs to go. A work PC is not a smartphone Microsoft!

So, I imagine we can kill the dragons, hopefully we can see it, please someone who has the game?
