My TV just started working again. It's a miracle!!! (Actually it's really some directv maintenence guy standing on our roof and fixing the dish, but meh.)

The channel that came on was the Directv Help Center channel. Right now, they're showing how the TV Guide works, and guess what the fake show they use as an example was called? "Helicopter Cops!" lol!!

The TV came back just in time too! Without something rotting my brain and robbing me of coherent thought, I was beggining to go nuts with songs stuck in my head.

Like, all week it's been "Brighton Rock." And I love the song so much that I don't ignore it, I let it get so "loud" in there that I can't even hear what's going on around me. I totally only heard about half of my English class the other day, and if I didn't watch myself, I would've probably started singing along.

"OH, ROCK OF AGES, DO NOT CRUMBLE, LOVE IS BREATHING STILL!!!!"

lol. :P

Well, it's very simple. Blow out their TV.

Right now, I'm missing the season premiere of House. Season premiere!!! And this is the show that I know ALL of my friends will be talking about tommorow. I got someone to tape it for me, but they can't give me the tape until Thursday. That combined with the fact that I'm gonna have to go back to school tommorow and embark on junior year, the toughest year there ever is in school, with an incompetent math teacher and my best friend and favorite teacher both moved to other schools, and my other friend not being on the same bus route as me anymore, and the possibility that my sworn enemy will share classes with me... just not feeling very happy right now.

I've been pretty lazy about getting the pictures from my trip onto my computer. But I'm starting to now. Here's just two, because not only is this a "look what I did post," but also an "I'm back from my vacation" post, even if I have been back for two weeks already. It would just seem weird to post and be all "I'm back!!" and not have any pictures up. I mean, c'mon, I went to England for crying out loud! There must be pictures!!!

So here's two random ones.

1) Me at Stonehenge. My mom took this pic, so that's why it's off-center. She also didn't say "one two three" or anything, so I had no idea she took my picture while I was half in a Jesus pose.

Okay, this time I am going to England. Not until 3:00 tommorow, but I don't know if I'll get a chance to be online again. So I'm saying goodbye now. See everyone on the 20th!

However, I do have TV news to post as well. My dad just ordered a flat screen plasma HDTV and a satellite dish. Which will be in the house when I return, on my birthday. How cool is that???

No, I'm not leaving for England yet! You've got two more days with me. ;)

Since this is TV.com, I thought it would be the appropriate place to bid a final farewell to the TV I've had in my house since I was about eight.

My dad has tried numerous things to fix it, and as you can see, we finally had to give up and haul it out to the curb. (It's the tied up one- the other one is a crappy temporary thing we stole from my grandma's house. :P)

Goodbye, little TV. (Which was really a big TV- and a really heavy sucker. That's why we needed the handtruck.)

Now, on to HDTV!!!!!!!!!

Apparently, you can't post images in a simple blog comment. Grr... because that's all I wanted to do, reply to what Mel said about my last picture of Pedro in the Wisconsin State Fair hat with a picture of me in the Wisconsin State Fair hat.

But you can't do that. So now I have to make a whole new post just so I can put up a stupid picture of me in the hat, because it was kinda funny.

My god, the human race has slowly been declining into a wasteland for longer than I'd originally believed...

I'm trying to think of stuff to write about in here, since now I have to divide between this and LiveJournal...

Anyway, the only thing I can think about right now is to post a little thing about my favorite band, Queen. It's the audio of the little vignette they did on Vh1's Rock Honors. Obviously, it would be better if it has the video too, but it's still pretty cool with just the audio, even if you have no idea who's talking. (Hint: the guy who says "I'm just a musical prostitue, my dear" is Freddie Mercury.) So anyway, if you've got nothing to do and you just feel like learning a bit about my favorite band, here you go!

Today, I discovered that lo and behold, there is actually one Checkers that exists in New Jersey. So, I went to it. Now that I have eaten at every burger place on the east coast (Sonic, Checkers, Burger King, Wendy's, McDonalds), I can officially pick which burger place is my favorite burger place. And the winner is...

Burger King!!!

Why? 4 reasons.

1) Patties are grilled, not fried. Personally I can't taste the difference, but it's healthier.

2) No mustard. I hate mustard, and hate remembering to ask for no mustard.

3) Onion rings. Only place that offers them, I love them.

4) Lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo come standard. I hate remembering to ask for those when I order too.

Now that I've picked my east coast favorite, on to the west! (Hardees, Jack in the Box, Carl's Jr.) Although it might be hard to try Jack in the Box... my mom forbids us to go their because she got food poisoning from one once.
