so i have had my ps3 for about 2-3 days and i nticed that after a while (15-20 mins) that it is on, the fan starts getting louder, not very loud, you can barely hear it while playing, mostly when the sound os off, but still pretty loud. and it stayslike that untill it is turned off. the ps3 itself stays pretty cool to the ouch, however.Is that normal? or should i be worried? thanks.

actually, I originally wanted to include them, but since I'm only allowed 5 answers, i don't have enough room. i left them out because i want to know how common it is with the newer models to see if there is a drop in the number of cases. sorry for the misunderstanding.

i have said it before and I'll say it again: I know this was done before, ut numbers tend to change over time.

NOTE: the 40/80gb option refers to the 80gb versionwith BC while the "80/160gb" option refers to the newer non-BC models.

I am aware i have left out the 20/60gb models, but that's becuase thy're of no matter to me. if you would like to metion them, do so in a comment please, thank you

i have a new ps3 80gb from the kind that do not play ps2 games. i have read alot about ps3 YLOD and blu-ray lense dying, but i don't know how new these prolems are, and how widespread. are they common? should i worry, or are they fixed in the newer models? how likely are they to happen to my ps3? thanks for your help :)

well, it is pretty straigh forward. i just bought a ps3 80gb from the kind that don't play ps2 games. is it likely to break like a 360? more likely? less? not likely? if you can link articles and statistics and that it would be great. thanks

the question is really simple: which is the more FUN game, i don't care about graphics unless they're horrible, which thy're not. i just want to know which game is more FUN to play. i obviously can't buy them both due to lack of budget, so please don't suggest that. thanks.

well, I'll get right to it: if i buy a ps3 at costco in the UK, will i get a costco warranty for it? or just a manufacturer's? that is, will i be able to, should anything happen, go to costco and exchange a broken ps3? how long is this warranty? is it optional, or automatic when buying a ps3?
