@Barighm: It would be rather cheeky to label a Star Wars game as a 'new IP', but this was the studio that did KOTOR wasn't it? Pretty keen for Hennig and Visceral's SW project.
@blackamerica: Not Sony fans; Platinum fans. To many people who love character-actions games these guys are the undisputed kings of the genre. Obviously when a developer you hold in such high regard in a niche genre has an exclusive that seems to be an interesting evolution of their formula, and it happens to be on the platform you don't own, you're gonna want that game on the platform you do own.
@the_master_race: If it even gets in the same ballpark as the greatest cRPG of all time, it will still be one of the better cRPGs yet made. The way is it headed now I don't think that is outside the realms of possibility.
@clonitza: Edmonton first announced a new IP almost two years ago. I wonder if this is same one? I know they cancelled Shadow Realms, but I think one of the other studios was doing that one alone. Could mean something coming next year (presuming they don't want to put it too close to ME later this year).
The Mass Effect series is one of those rare (set of) games where I really wish you had the option to skip through the combat to get back to the interesting bits.
@fedor: So far as I know SotB and Nier are confirmed exclusives to PS4. I'd especially like Nier on PC because it seems the type of game that could benefit even more so than most from a >60 frame rate.
