@Tiwill44: Are you talking about the part where I had to climb up all the pipes to get up onto the broken bridge, then I jumped off onto a pile of blue rubbish bags and missed and died and had to do it all again? F*ck, that was infuriating.
@herrmoekl: They got that battle so right. Epic is the right word. It felt so crucial, and climactic. It was probably my favourite amongst the scripted action-driven sequences of the game.
I've played so many good games this year, picking a moment that stands above all others is pretty tough. But if I had to call out one scene it would probably be the wedding sequence from Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone.
What do people think the gross will be? I think Avatar is the record with about $2.2B. I think this one might pass $3 billion. It's a damn fine film, to go with the Star Wars hype zeitgeist.
@Arkhalipso: The games that I feel are noteworthy this year are; Bloodborne, Tales from the Borderlands and The Witcher 3. Then Hands of Fate, Life is Strange, and Until Dawn. Plus Dying Light, and then Lara Croft GO for being the only good mobile game. And mentions for (remaster, redo, and unfinished, respectively) The Uncharted Collection, Divinity:OS Enhanced and Republique.
