@Snakepond1: You know it's cheaper to wait for discounts after it's released right? Preordering is rolling the dice, as you've just found out the hard way.
@vengefulreaper: Or people are fed up of games getting a weird exception when it comes to being a consumer products - often getting away with short-changing the consumer with very little recourse. But keep toeing the company lines if that makes you happy.
This sounds like it's is essentially a $60 early-access demo with the features to be added on later. Also the fight bucks stuff doesn't sound like it's going to be a fair payout and you'll have to grind you way to unlock content....or of course short-cut it with some real money. All of which is a shame because underneath all the s**t-show, looks like there is a great game mechanically underneath.
As an aside 'buy now get your content later' culture is kind of tiring from a consumer standpoint.
@jonexotic: oh it's not the worst example of unbalance but it's a shame they had to resort to that. Now you could die to someone who lucked out on a good drop rather than on pure map control/gun skill
@jonexotic: The weapon variants with various stat bonuses like suppressors and scopes. If it was just cosmetic, it would have been ideal, but anything that impacts gameplay is kind of shady.
