[QUOTE="vitrobliss"]Wow sheep are really insecure when it comes to handhelds.:[ Youre kidding right?
They want the PSP to go away so badly, it's getting kind of sad.shadow_702
No, that's the way they've been acting from day one.
[QUOTE="blackace"][QUOTE="gcuber123"] [QUOTE="Shtinky"][QUOTE="gcuber123"]US sales for June:
DS 593k
PS2 312k
360 277k
PSP 221k
XBX 24k

US sales does not equal worldwide.
DS worldwide sales are also higher than PSP worldwide sales. PSP=OWNED.
Considering Nintendo has owned the handheld market for over 10yrs now, it should definitely be leading. It's also 1/2 the price of the PSP. The PSP started out slow because of the high price and weak gamers, but it's been selling a lot better over the past 6-8 months. It'll never catch the DS, but no one, (even Sony) expect it to. M$ is already considering releasing a handheld as well. I hope they can keep the price under $150.
Nintendo also owned the console market for 10 years before someone came along. Maybe that's why the Gamecube is the best selling console right now.
You expect me to take you seriously after saying something like that?
Has long has Sony keeps a piece of Sells in the Hand-held market and goes for the older media favored crowd then they will continue to hurt Nintendo Norg
Indeed. And Sony has done a substantially better job with the PSP than most other non-Nintendo handheld manufacturers have.
[QUOTE="jetpower3"]If that makes the PSP a flop, what does that make the GC in comparison to PS2? bulletbillsaleswise it is a flop, but in profit, it passed the PS2's success in that catagorie.
The topic creator only seems to be comparing sales here. And besides, profits didn't help Nintendo win the war last gen.
