Shouldn't Putin be more concerned with the problems his country has?LJS9502_basic

Reminds me of Russia Today and how they always seem to latch onto fringe theories against the U.S.

Long term marketable securities are NOT cash. Comparing an entire company's nest egg with an operating cash balance of a government treasury is misleading, especially given their different functions. Apple has only about $28 billion in cash and cash equivalents and short term investmentsanyway.

Well, spectacle or not, they sure love to get everything done at the seemingly last minute.

I meant that I don't think anything will change in combat operations.

I don't either, but I mean in terms of long-haul consequences. It seems like this intervention is quickly losing political structure and turning into yet another open-ended committment. And maybe fears of that happening will make some think twice about not killing or actively targeting Gaddafi himself.

Nothing, I don't think.

So you'd say political and legal limbo for the foreseeable future? Makes sense, as that has happened many times before.

...but apparently also rejects measure to cut funding for it.

Pretty interesting conundrum. It can't be authorized, but it also can't necessarily be stopped or phased out either.

Any idea what happens now?

I've heard Jedi are not protected by this law. Is it true?

Is that the same bill as this one?

At least he didn't die. If we went by the precedent set by the Titanic, there would have been a 65%+chance of that happening.

I have strict rules to follow in that regard. I never do that, at least not anymore.
