Just got my gaming PC and got Mass Effect but it keeps saying to download the latest version (this is a prompt given as a Microsoft solution to the problem). I downloaded a patch and some downloadable content but still not playing. Anyone have this problem? Am I missing something on the website? I was all amped up but my PC gaming birth is not going so well yet.

I finished playing it not to long ago and it was great. Very unique twist on the shooter with an awesome environment and story. It really is like nothing else out there and....its fun. I believe even a new copy is like 39.99 at Best Buy. You could get it used too.

So I am about to start playing a little on PC games (already play consoles) and I have a question about WoW which is in the mail. I needed a new laptop for work so I spent a little and got it where I could play a few games (got a ASUS G50vt also in the mail). So with it I ordered WoW battle chest and wanted to know if there are offline quest as well? I understand the whole point is online but at work I wont have high speed (so I'll have to save that for the house). But can I level up a little and play a few quests? I also ordered Crysis (the one coming out in May), fallout 3 and one or two others. These mainly are to take up alot of time. Is it going to be very difficult to get into World of Warcraft without getting massacred? Hope to like PC gaming cause I love my PS3!

[QUOTE="K1LLR3175"]There is a simple solution to the problem....Stop buying ever new game that comes out. They will always be around so you really don't have an excuse to run out and buy all the new releases. You keep doing that and of course you will find it harder and harder to spend quality with games.Me and Martha agree on that.....Chaos lolChaos_Bladez
You are right. :P It's not my fault so many good games are coming out so fast. I wouldn't have got Resident Evil 5 so soon but it was only $30 brand new at Best Buy. I had to do it. :D AGH MARTHA!! :P NOOOO! :P

Not to mention getting games is so much fun

I have more of just a "too many games, not enough time" problem. I bought my PS3 not long ago and got abunch of games. Then all these games came out Feb?March and I fell behind. I usually don't have a problem moving on as long as I beat the game regardless of trophy status (I do think their pretty cool though). I have had games like R2, DeadSpace, Uncharted on the shelf while I beat other games. Wish I didn't have to work so much...LOL!

Sony should do a price drop and bundle GoW III with PS3 right around the holidays. That would have the effect of dropping a hydrogen bomb on M$, IMO.frosted_tofu
A "headshot" to Bill Gates dome (to use KZ2 terminology)...LOL! Fanboys chill I got both systems so I'm not a hater just prefer PS3...for now.

First of all, I'd get a desktop. You're not going to game on a train, bus, metro, car, bicycle (this would be funny). You're going to game at home and use your laptop maybe for other stuff, but it seems you're getting one for gaming. For 1600 you can get a sick pc and still have plenty of money left, you know that? Anyway, it's your decision.

As for the pros/cons.

There's only 1 con, the pc (or laptop in this case) can't be used for an evening with friends. You can't go coop (atleast not offline), you can't race/shoot/whatever against each other. That's it. In return you get >

Mouse/Keyboard, you'll finally get to see why we laugh at console controllers (atleast for shooters)

Games are cheaper

The PC will be like getting a RROD-free Supernatural X360 that can do so much more it's a disgrace to even compare it to the PC, let alone mention it in the same sentence as >PC< and will be a welcome addiction to your PS3 collection. ^^

I here you but when I'm at home I play consoles. I need something to play at work along with other normal stuff you do with a computer (plus watch movies)...LOL!!
