I went with the ASUS g50vt with 2.53 ghz processor, 4gig ram, 600 hd, Nividia 9800 GS card Was pretty reasonable. I also ordered World of Wacraft and Crysis edition with all the games (ship may 5th or so). I love the PS3 and I don't think it will replace it. But the fact of the matter was my current laptop broke so I had to get something and, as I have said before, I have a second job where I can sit around and play. It was pretty hard to transport the PS3 to my room there without a TV. So I will see how PC gaming is. I may get a 3G card from my wireless company ATT and be able to play online as well? anyone done this? Is the connection fast enough?

[QUOTE="Couth_"][QUOTE="jhuff1"]The ASUS G50VT-A2 Notebook seems reasonable. Any experience with these computers? Handle all high end games? Nividia 9800 GS 512mb 1680x1050 15.4 res 2.8ghz 4gig ram 500 + hard drive only little over $1600??

You can get something comparable for around $1100

Where? Also looking at this Sager NP 8662?

[QUOTE="jhuff1"]I was checking out one of these alienware laptops and it looks pretty awesome. Someone who PC games alot tell me about it? How is it better? Worse than say PS3 (i'm playing alot now)? Is it really woth the money? Sell me on it if you can. Convince me not to do it for all you console buffs.True_Gamer_
Laptops are kinda like portable PCs for 90% of people....I yet to see a person using the battery....all are just moving the laptop from place to place and always use the socket....I would suggest a mini atx pc which would be 3 times cheaper and twice as powerful.

Good website to build one at? They have their own? I'll try to goole.

I like LBP but it can frustrate you at times in the later levels with jumps etc. Valkyria is what I play to chill too.

Has a NVIDIA GeForce 9800m GT card 2.5 ghz processor high def screen 15.4in (1980x1200 something like that) can get 4 to 8 DDR ram 500gig hard drive Would it be better to put together a XPS or where could I build one for cheaper? I really like my console but it just isn't very portable but I've been lookin at monitors.

I'm playing both but if I had to choose...KZ2 hands down. Don't get me wrong though, I really like RE5 but I am addicted to KZ2. Thinkin about quitting my job and getting a divorce so I can play all day in my underwear.
