This is a real pain. Hard to find a way to play when travel. Monitors are kinda big to lug around and expensive to just get to play away from home. Plus the sound out of monitors probably not the best. I'd like to find a 15 to 17 inch monitor that looks really good with an HDMI port that I can play the PS3 without much trouble?

If you have a laptop with a HDMI port can you hook up your PS3 and have it play out of the laptop monitor? Are there HDMI in & out ports or just a general two way port? Anybody done this for PS3 on the go? Thanx

[QUOTE="jhuff1"][QUOTE="slvrraven9"]yeah it was a VERY good game. i see a lot of people complain about how short the game was but i felt it ended just right. i actually FELT like i was moving along like i knew right where i should be in the story like beginning middle and end. very good game. im having trouble in the online though...i just tried it last night and had no idea what i was doing. i just knew i had to kill the bad guys! lol....i asked my teammates what we were supposed to do and i got pretty much flamed pretty bad. i still had fun though....next time ill just try and pick up on the objective myselfslvrraven9
First you just got to play a bunch of games. Start out with just body count then move on. You can invite me as a friend and we can play sometime. I am no master of online play.....yet!

hey whats your tag, ill send you an invite tonight if i have time.

jhuff1...I'll see ya online

Great point...Launched in a stacked month. SF4 was huge as expected with its' long history. Also, Fear 2 launched and although not Halo, it is popular. Then there was the knowledge that RE5 would follow in March. If you could only afford one, that may have affected sales.

How much the game cost or profit margin have nothing to do with the quality of the game. That is something for shareholders of GG to worry about. Bottom line is the final product that came out was absolutely top notch by all measures relevant to someone who pays 60 bucks to pick up a game. Graphics are beautiful, campaign challenging and online awesome and it has been overwhelming well recieved by those who have purchased the game. Most naysayers haven't played the game for any significant amount of time and often don't have a PS3, turning this debate into a referendum on the PS3 itself. Then they quote games like Call of Duty or GTA as anti-PS3 examples of successful games failing to note that they are on both systems while in the same breath condeming Sony. Lots of haters out there. I'll play Halo in the lving room then go in my bedroom and play KZ2 and have a great time doing it while many will complain without ever having had the joy to play such a great shooter.

PS3:MGS4, KZ2, LBP, Uncharted (soon uncharted 2), Valkyria Chronicles, Resistance 2, God of War 360: Halo 3, Gears 2, Fable 2, left 4 dead Both: Bioshock (newer version on PS3), Fallout 3, Oblivion, Ninja Gaiden, GTA, Call of Duty's, Dead Space, Resident Evil 5 Assasins Creed, Prince of Persia, Most sports on both except MLB the show 360 is cheaper but not as much so if you go with the higher priced elite. PS3 more expensive but has a blu ray Internet: consensus is that XBL is more developed however PSN actively developing and improving. There are more people on XBL likely due to more people buying the cheaper system for obvious reasons. There are still gizillions of people on PSN network so not like you'll have problems finding people to play with. I have both and think they are both great. If a game comes out on both I go with the PS3 version and in general prefer the PS3 exclusives. If you can afford it I would go with the PS3 but if you want to save a dime then the 360 of which you will be very happy with. Note: the games are just off the top of my head... I am sure others will add many more +/- criticize my thoughts but you'll be happy with either

Awesome game I am enjoying it. Incidentally, I have not played ANY of the prior resident evil's. I guess I should have.
