Quite literally everything they’ve done with this game has gone this way. They come out and apologize every time they touch the game. It’s embarrassing. Stay far away from this one. It reeks.

You’re not forced to use power ups. You can disable them altogether before you start a game or a season. Also, handoff timing is incredibly easy. I was nailing it every time, even in the tutorial.

Anyway, I’d give the game a 6 (would be 7), because of the abuse of microtransactions, season pass, legendary old school players being locked behind a paywall, etc.

The game is fun, more fun than Madden that’s for sure and having licensed NFL players is a huge plus.

Let me get this straight; they’ve increased the price of digital to $450 and are selling external disc drives for it, for $70? So you’re paying $520 for a digital console with an external disc drive. $20 isn’t much of a difference, but who in their right mind would by a digital only console and then buy an external disc drive?

Awesome, this hits on 3 games that have been on my list for some time. This is a huge steal for me.

Come on Gamespot, use your brains. Epic just got their pants sued off for scummy micro transaction practices and now they’re increasing V Bucks prices as well as cutting 900 jobs, right before they have to pay it out. Unfortunately, it’s going to work for them, especially with the holidays coming up. They’ll essentially get off scot-free with this extra revenue.

If this is a sequel, then I suppose I’m living a parallel life with my sequel self.
