That has to be the shi**iest collector’s edition I’ve ever seen. You’re paying an extra $140 for a statue, 3 art prints, a steel book (which often comes free as a pre-order bonus) and MORE in-game currency, as if I want to waste a cent of my money on in-game currency. I’m guessing that you can’t even use that currency on Kombat Packs.
As much as I want to support this game and own a cool version of the game (there isn’t one), I think I’ll stick to standard at a discount on PC.
Genius, adding Diablo 2 to a list of Diablo clones. Just couldn’t resist, huh?
Anyways, I think Grim Dawn is the best of them all. It’s better than Diablo 1 and 3. It’s a massive shame that I never got a proper console release. It never released on PlayStation and I’m not counting that abomination of an Xbox port. Nobody wants to play that. It just adds to the shame. I suppose PC exclusives are always a good thing. There are plenty of fantastic exclusives these days.
@Spartan_418: I couldn’t agree more. I have a major aversion to superhero movies and all the quips. The only Hero movie I’ve enjoyed over the past many years was The Batman. Before that, it was Logan. Avatar 2 is a good one. A movie that I’ll probably even pick up on disc.
That about sums it up. I don’t know if I can say that I even like movies anymore, but I enjoyed Avatar 2. Say what you will, but it was a visual feast and it had no nonsense boxes that they tried to check. It felt old school to me. A no nonsense blockbuster like the days of old.
If you want anyone like me or my friends interested, then you’ll have to avoid 10,000 different crafting/upgrade materials (the most necessary of which are always paywalled)… You know what, I was going to go on, but there’s no way you’re going to deviate from the MMO norms and therefore will never interest us. Being LOTR isn’t enough.
@jenovaschilld: COD games only become more run and gun with each release. It’s unfortunate and I haven’t bought or played COD in years. I don’t expect that to change anytime soon.
