Just checked the comments in Lucy's blogpost... and almost all of them comment the same stuff commented here... Standing by your product is not a bad thing, except when it impedes you to admit your mistakes.
It's quite simple for me. I'm more interested in playing SimCity on my own accord and won't buy it until there is an option for it. If not... well, simcity 4 will serve.
If this is true, it proves the lack of insight the EA board have. Although it is difficult to maintain interest in a horror story, switching it to an action template turned away many Dead Space veterans. Also, I have the feeling that Dead Space 3 was more rushed than the other 2; and adding anti-atmospheric features in a game that relies almost entirely on its' atmospehere... well, not a good idea
