I think Daniel was originally planning on leaving Bond to give a chance to a younger actor for the role, but after hearing a bunch of rumors of old actors that are his age trying to replace him, he's decided to stay.

Why vacate Bond if someone your age is replacing you. By doing one more Bond movie Daniel pretty much makes sure that nobody his age like Hugh Jackman or Damian Lewis will ever have a chance to play Bond. Thus ensuring that they replace him with a much younger actor.

@Lach0121: Exactly they replace older Bonds every decade or so with a younger Bond.

So the notion of replacing Craig with Damian makes no sense they are the same age.

@TimmyDKJR: You always have hardcore fans for every game that'll buy it regardless. For me its the Yakuza franchise, I buy those day one regardless of what people say. Even if they suck I buy them.

But you cannot run a franchise on hardcore fans alone, you need to attract the casual fans, so if this thread is any proof, Ubisoft will loose a huge portion of their non hardcore fans for this game.

I for one like Creed games, but I'm not hardcore, so I'll pass this game just to make a point.

@xenomorphalien: Then Ubisoft just screwed a good game from getting a wider audience, cause I'm not buying it. I'm willing to miss a good game to stop something that is generally bad for gaming, are you?

Also if enough people boycott the game, Ubisoft will be forced to strip the micro-transactions and patch the game.

Money talks...

Speak with your wallet. Boycott this game and Ubisoft will never put micro-transactions in a fully priced retail game again.

Complaining is useless just don't buy the game and they'll get the point real quick.

@Zjarcal: Actually its just part of the game exploring, you just go to the location and find the scroll.

Grinding is like killing 7 blillion trolls for a magical troll hat. That's grinding.

The Witcher 3 simply had a huge world map for you to explore, but didn't have any grinding.

@Attitude2000: In a non Free to Play game, you should be able to get everything in the game through normal gameplay.

Grinding is when they don't want you to get everything so they make you kill 7billion turtles to get a turtle sword, forcing people to spend real money instead of killing 7 billion turtles.

You should never have to kill 7 billion turtles for anything in a non Free to Play game. It exploits completionists who have already paid real money for the game to begin with, they should be able to get that fancy Turtle sword in the normal playthrough. When you add micro to a paid game you destroy a healthy gaming experience through exploiting players.

For example in The Witcher 3, I was able to get everything in the game without any extra playtime, I just played the game normally and completed each quest and got everything. This is how games should be.

Like how they just more or less in a very political way said that they didn't market for it cause they didn't think it would make money. LOL

"Because of the focus on this Christmas time-frame, to really support the big third-party titles like Destiny and these titles, they didn't see the need to push Until Dawn that much from the platform marketing standpoint."

Translation "We didn't advertise cause we didn't give sht about this game, surprise!"

You should never start adding micro to getting stuff in paid games. This is a bad precedence to set, developers can easily exploit this by making some items so hard to get that anyone other paid customers will give up.

This is very bad for paid games. Sure you can make every item accessible but you can also make grinding for them so tough that becomes a necessity to buy them. That's how all micro-transactions work, they can all be unlocked through regular play but they are so grind heavy that paying is the only logical means to get them.

I think I'll boycott this game on principle alone.

I played The Witcher 3 and got every single weapon and armor in the game without any grinding, and that's how all paid games should be. DLC is one thing, but paid items to cut down on grinding is very bad.
