@deathstream Those systems and physical games can still be bought and enjoyed in second hand markets, and if you bought it when it came out, it will still be working regardless of whether some authentication server somewhere stays on or not, it's really very simple and goes far beyond backwards compatibility. Come on man, use some brain power with your comments.
Miyamoto is right, as usual. Physical media that is not crippled by DRM is one of the best ways to own your content. Digital means once the "service" is done, unsupported, out of business, so goes all the "stuff" you bought.
Digital is pure profit for companies, and only benefits them in the long run. Steam is DRM, and an anon. xbox developer has even said as much, despite the steam fanboys crying differently. Steamworks is DRM, most PC retail dvd releases use steamworks, which effectively cripples the game and turns it into the same crap you see with Xbone. Don't support this crap guys, the PC kids already sold us out with steam, don't let it happen with consoles too.
Microsoft has been and always will be anti consumer, please, we need to stop supporting that company and support ones like nintendo :).
This guy is the biggest cockbag I have seen in some time. Physical media that is not crippled by DRM is one of the best ways to own your content. Digital means once the "service" is done, unsupported, out of business, so goes all the "stuff" you bought.

@Pierce_Sparrow @keldarironfist @Megares I never said anything was unequivocal. You said I did :). Romantic views? These are objective. The review scores bare it out. SO now having the game play for me is an improvement? Why not automate all games eh? Clearly if game technology further improves, it can just predict what I am likely to do via algorithms and it can just be like watching a really long movie! I have been playing western and eastern RPG's for over 20 years. For this particular series, it was always at it's best when it was turned based, and many agree.
If you folks would like to own the new wolfenstein, be sure to get the PS4 version, if you want to pay the same amount to not own it, then get the xbone POS!
Keep that F2P garbage to a minimum nintendo, don't let the rest of the shitty gaming scene ruin what you have going. Keep releasing full, amazing, and physical retail games, and we will keep buying them.
@CyhortI82 Sorry but I think he's right. Sega games truly lost there luster once sega left the console business. Nintendo makes great and unique platforms and I would prefer them not to water it down by following the trend to port things everywhere, especially to shitty hipster devices like iOS.
