@davillain-: Retail stores haven't relied on PC game sales in more than a decade. The console market and it's used games are what kept them going. With digital, there will never be a flourishing new/used economy. An entire ecosystem of employment and cash flow are wiped away thanks to corporate control and the lazy idiots that that feed into it.

Whether they rush them or spend lots of time on them, gamers will be disappointed when they are canceled just the same.

If Microsoft can somehow perform a magic trick where they provide a better and higher quality VR experience than Sony currently does and has the same catalog or better then they're finally cooking with gas. Recycling the Oculus Rift at lower performance than the PC will not cut it.
