@akassassin11: I game on a 70" 4k panel with 2 gtx 1080ti's in SLI. Of course it appears to be bragging but it's a valid point of reference as to how serious I consider my time and my experiences. It's a staggering revelation to game this way and I will never go back. The PS4 pro is the closest to PC gaming as any console has ever got and it too is a remarkable experience for those special exclusives you can't play anywhere else. If it wasn't for the flatulating Xbox One and that joke Nintendo Switch I would say this is the absolute best gaming has ever been and finally getting to the point where I had always wished it would be. Once Scorpio launches, despite it's questionable purpose in the gaming world with no exclusives, the gaming trifecta of PC thanks to the advancements of Nvidia, Xbox Scorpio & PS4 Pro will be the turning point in how games are designed and played.
The Scorpio could have a serious advantage over the Pro if console exclusive games remain a toss of the coin between the two like how the original Destiny was. If Destiny or other console only games give a native 4k or close on the Scorpio over the PS4 Pro's usual 1440p/1800p then I could see actually owning the new Xbox. The difference between 1440p and 1800p isn't as dramatic as the difference between 720p and 1080p but it's very noticeable. True 2160p is even less noticeable than 1800p with proper anti aliasing even at 70". At some point you will need to game at greater than 100" in 4k to start seeing the differences between the "next" next gen systems.
Knew it was coming... won't care unless it's on PC.... but then again, if it remains console exclusive the Scorpio could have the graphical advantage over the Pro.
@Richardthe3rd: Just because the Xbox One was literally under-powered trash with 720p games doesn't mean the Scorpio will be. I bet specs will be shared at E3, they are waiting for an event to discuss that not some random tweet, Xbox isn't leader of the free world.
@Barighm: Console gaming will forever be behind the curve. People demand too much from cheap plastic and lower temperature chips. PC gaming is for people that care about stability and framerates. Consoles are for people that have every excuse in the book to not game on PC. Luckily, the Pro looks damn good at 4K.
