You're right, but communication always fails unless by chance..and it's all the more likely to fail on the internet. The "funny" guy thing came out because I kept sensing your condescension growing toward Seiki with each passing post..and then it reached an accusatory level. I admit, shouldn't have used it..my apologies for that.

The "man up" part was just an emphasis to coax you more--anyone's first reaction after the evidence Seiki posted would have been to apologise. You didn't, and I presumed it would have had something to do with ego or internet one upmasnhip that held you back. That's why I used it...it was not aimed as an insult, rather, a catalyst. But again, apologies if you "perceived" it as an insult.

As for what Seiki is arguing with you, OR if he's giving reasons/justifications for the arguments doesn't bother me. You should take it up with him. I was not interested in the subject matter of the discussion. It was the tone/attitude of the posters which caught my eye.

So disismycomp has played KZ2, he showed you the pic. Then he showed you the trophies as well. He mentioned that he found both Helghast and Locusts uninspired..both!. Even after that, let alone apologising, you guys(some of you that took on him) call him a troll. Why? Because he didn't really enjoy the enemy design and was uninterested in the story of a game that happens to be a precious exclusive?

Fanboys I tell ya...rabid!!

^^I wouldn't know...haven't been a PC gamer for about 6-7 years now, the last game I played on the PC was F.E.A.R and a had a 6600GT iirc. Now, with a family and a little daughter I barely get enough time for my PS360. I only called you out because I thought you weren't quite right in your attitude towards Seiki. I could care less for sw arguments which change polarities at the drop of a hat. I must admit, I do enjoy reading through some of the threads.

As for the original topic question. Yes, it's pretty obvious isn't it? I mean if you have a decent gaming rig then the only reason for you to buy the consoles would be the console exlusive games. Good reasons? You bet! Gears', Ninja Gaidens, Demons Souls, Uncharted 2, God of War 3 would be my personal reasons and though I don't particularly enjoy them, I could easily see people making a similar case for the Halos, the Killzones, The Forzas and the Gran Turismos. People with a penchant for fighters can add some more.

If anyone is seriosuly(I doubt it) not interested in any of the console only games this gen, then the only reason to go to consoles instead of a decent gaming rig would be economic. So that's that..my 2c

EDIT--First para directed at Alexandros. EDIT working on GS? Yaaaaayyy!

@Kickinurass--Now you're just arguing for the sake of arguing. Yes, the word "hardware" is also there..duh!, but that's all in conjunction to Sony Online Services. Meaning, if you have tampered/modded/hacked the hardwarebut stillLOG ONto Sony servers then you're liable/guilty. Offline, it's just you and your machine...and Sony can't do sh** about it.

That's why Sony's claims on GeoHot having a PSN account. Claiming jusrisdiction on Cal coz of his alleged Twitter accounts and what not. Really, please read up more(including court docs)on the matter before making any remarks. You have no idea what the issue is.

^^I don't know if GeoHot read it or not, but you certainly didn't..or you wouldn't have missed Sony ONLINE Services mentiond 3 times in that paragraph. That clause talks about PSN and it's offerings. You own the PS3 that you bought, but the servers belong to Sony, and they have every right to protect it..deny you entry..ban you.etc etc.

That paragraph you posted has nothing to do with the matter at hand. In fact, it doesn't even have anything to do with jailbreaking. It's all about the root key that was published, and of course the signing tools. The reason Sony is being so aggressive is because GeoHot, apparently, has the NPDRM key which he has not yet released. Sony will do anything and everything in their power to stop that from happening.

On another note, it was a surprise to see the judge favor Sony on this. The arguments(evidence) put forward by Sony's lawyers were amateurish at best.

^^Psdual_wielder nailed it imo.

"Hardcore" as a term cannot be generalized in gaming imo. It really boils down to what kind of games elicit that kind of interest in you and whether you're willing to invest the time and patience to achieve something commendable out of it(mostly for personal satisfaction).

I find myself pretty dedicated to the action/hack-slash genre; going for no hurt/handicapped/special conditions runs on games from the Ninja Gaiden series, God of War, Bayonetta etc. With other genres, it's pretty much a run or two and I'm done...pretty casual so to speak. So yeah, you just can'tbrand aperson casual if you sawhim playing farmwville once, coz chances are....he might just be the uber hori stick master who can make the "You Lose"screen appearin a matter of seconds. The same idea applies to someone you may brand hardcore.

Character Models/Animation--UC2

Weapon Models--KZ2

Enemy Design--Gears/Gears 2

Lighting--KZ2/Halo3

Scope/Draw Distance--Oblivion

Last but not the least, I know it's not technically very impressive, but I just love the look of Fable 2.
