[QUOTE="legionofdugi"]idk it was like after i finally got ahold of the combat i had lost interest in the story, yet again i was juggling that with the attempt to like ff xiii and playing god of war so this could be the issue. i want to try record but id hate to spend 45$ on a download and not like it haha yokofox33
The story is a little weak in Resonance of Fate, I'll give you that. I just loved the gameplay too much to care about it though. I thought the characters were great. Try it again though. Not forcing you to like it, but just give it another chance I say.
i might try that i mean ive given demons souls idk how many shot haha thanks for the input :)WOW emotionally delved into this huh? well as a fellow poster her @ gamespot i already posted my thoughts on the matter look about 7-9 posts up and i am sticking with it, because i am sick of people trying to put their mishaps off on others. "My ps3 broke" well tough stuff bud it wasn't designed to break. Like i mentioned before i work in used games and i don't know how many times a week somebody tries to pin a 2-3 year old system failure on me and my store! If you are that emotionally involved with your PS then it shouldn't budge you to replace it! i did the math for you on my previous post. Good day![QUOTE="legionofdugi"][QUOTE="2eachhisownmask"]
@ worlock > Okay, okay... you objecting to "sheeple" non-sense? Change it to 'people', if it bothers you so much. The point is still the same, really. Who cares what I call people who can't think for themselves and offer a 'reasonable' argument in this matter other than to say, "Your warranty had expired, what do you expect, man?", or like Raging Melody's reasoning:
"It isn't their responsibility, once you purchase something it is then your responsibility even if you were not the reason that it broke. If someone stole your PlayStation 3 you wouldn't blame it on the company would you and ask for a new one now would you?"
or the vast majority of you hard-core gamers offering overwhelming corporate defense as edthetinker pointed out earlier:
"The most disturbing thing about this thread is the overwhelming corporate defense. When did humans stop asking why? I see these same attitudes reflected in the congressmen who came to Bps defense at the recent hearings."
What they say about themselves with statements like that, is far worse than me calling them sheeple, really. I could call them worse, but why? Who cares what I call them, or anyone else for that matter; the ones who feel a personal objection should really ask themselves - Why? You can call me anything you want. If I know it's not true, it can't upset me in the least. Only things that I feel or think have merit can upset me. The reason this is the second time you are reacting to it, for one reason or another, leads me to believe that where there is smoke, there's fire.
The argument that just because the things are the way they are, we should just accept them and be complacent, without demanding the bad to be corrected, or for the injustice to be brought to light, or challenged in any way is an attitude of an inferior, a naive maybe, or even uneducated thinker, but deffinitely not of someone with good reasoning skills, logic and feeling for what is right. Just because things are a certain way- does not mean they ought to be, like so many of you had suggested:
"You had bad luck dude, it happens. It sucks when it does happen, but that's life. Sony aren't marketing an intentionally defective product. They're marketing a complex electronic product. A certain amount of all products are going to fail, that's just how it is. And the more complex something is the higher the chance of something going wrong. That's why a toaster from 30 years ago can still work, there's not much to it. You can ether buy a new PS3 or you can take your money elsewhere. But raging on the internet and writting letters to people who will never see them (and wouldn't care even if they did) isn't going to do you any good."
If one is to follow this logic, there would be no progress in the society. We would still burn witches, live as slaves, engage in off-shore drilling ( :) ) unwilling to stand behind what we believe is right. And you're the one to speak of offering a reasonable argument? Please offer it to me, cause I haven't yet read one coming from you.
My arguments have been consistent, and made public for everyone to see, and argue for or against from the very beginning. For those of you interested enough, you can follow the thread from the beginning. For those of you who cannot follow, oh well...
The only other thing I'd like to add is that I would have to agree that this PS3 issue by itself is really not all that important. There is really nothing intrinsically significant about my PS3 dying. However, the fact that the overwhelming number of you people came to corporate defense reminds me of a Jewish person voting for the Nazi party, or a poor person voting for Bush, - both equally upsetting and truly disturbing. So if your stance is such about an insignificant PS3, I am afraid you will follow the same 'logic' when it comes to far more important things in life.

So people bring 2-3 yr old ylod'd systems to the store? Things are worse than I feared! Don't let them bring you down - just tell them they were not supposed to last that long to begin with. Tell them they actually got a good deal - I know!!! - Tell them they should have gotten the extended warranty! People...
Thank you for your input. You should visit more often. There's always an engaging correspondence to be found 'round here (Gamespot)
Now who's immature? i give you a sturdy debate and you reply with this? you are a joke. im done with this thread. BTW welcome to life, get over it
