From where this all seems to be going, people will look back on this series ten years from now and just say: "Assassin's Creed II was one hell of a game."
The Grand Theft Auto series, in my opinion, has been the most important and revolutionary game series since the new millennium both thematically (intelligent, mature satire of American culture) and regarding gameplay (introduction to the sandbox world style, possibly the most beloved innovation/genre of the past two game generations).
Geez, is every series going to dumb down its gameplay to simple point and shoot action just for the group of gamers with short attention spans who you normally see playing the newest CoD?
