Die Hard, Snatch, and Jurassic Park are all great ones. Pulp Fiction is hands down my favorite movie of all time, I've watched it like 10 times and could watch more. Resivoir Dogs is my 2nd fav and have watched it about the same.
Devil may cry 3 is the bees kness in my opinion. It's one of my favorite games of all time, and had a great story and was about as fast and crazy as PS2 got. I say check it out, I liked it even more than 4.
Yah I had the good ol 3 rings o death once. On a 3 hundred dolla new Xbox 360 I bought 3 years ago. BUT, I also had a job, so I just went out the same day and bought a new one lol. Then about a year and a half later...it broke. So I repeated the same thing. Get a job my son, then u will not have to deal with this when Halo Reach 2 comes out lol.
I've gotta go with Alan Wake on this one. Its my only MUST buy right now. I'll probably go ahead and pick up Split Second too, but I might wait until its cheaper. Blur for sure too. Dunno about Alpha protocol yet, have to see how it does....
I haven't really looked into RDR yet, but I know for a fact I'll probably end up buying Alan Wake on day one, at least if it does alright with the critics.
I've looked around on google and there aren't a whole lot of articles about this, the best I've been able to find are videos on youtube of people running their 360's on 1080p tv's. They look like they're in good quality in the videos, but its kind of hard to tell of course. I'm going to be upgrading from my 32 inch 720p tv soon to an LG 42 or 47inch 1080p tv. Just wondering how xbox 360 looks in 1080p?
I would choose Mind Control because 1. I could convince an airport to give me a really fast airplane. 2. I could convince people to tell me what they are thinking. 3. I could make a store give me a clock that I could set to whatever time I wanted it to be. 4. And so I could convince anyone that wanted to hurt me to not do so. Eeeeeasy choice. :P
Yah It's not a HUGE increase really. So ur prolly right on that one and it would be better probably just to get the 5870. Im kind of crazy like that tho lol. Mine OC's amazingly with no problamo.
1. Not 100% sure but I believe you'll be fine on that one. 2. That is enough for sure. You might even be able to pull of SLI or Crossfire with that one, Depending on the card. 3. If you want the best get a Geforce GTX 480. The best out there right now, but is $500 and kind of hard to find. You can max any game out at any resolution and get great frame rates. On the cheaper end I might go with the 5870, I hear a lot of good things about those cards, just remember that some new games are incorporating Nvidia Only features like Just Cause 2, which has the most amazing water effects I've ever seen. But only with an Nvidia card. But not too many games will do this probably. 4. Thats purty fast. You should not need to update this. 5. I would'nt get an SSD personally. They are should start getting much cheaper here in a while so I'd hold out. Just get a nice 1TB drive for like 80 bucks. :) Don't have a mac so I'm not so useful.
