It's not really. See, there are other prices at work here that just aren't being accounted for.

Things like XBL costing $50/year, or the fact that each of those console games would be $10 more expensive than it's PC counterpart (for every 5 or so console games, you'd be able to get another PC game).

Plus there's the whole complication of to what standard we're gaming. If we must have the PC price match that of the consoles, $1000 US, the PC will be extremely capable, and assuming you've got a monitor and KB/M (which most people in the West do have in their homes), that's all you'd need for a high standard of play.

The PS3/360/Wii depend on the price of a HDTV for a high standard of play, and unlike the monitor and KB/M, most people do NOT have one of these. So you can see the price argument falls apart. It's like (as was suggested by another poster) comparing the DS and PSP library to the 360 since they cost roughly the same.

It's only normal Console have more AAA since they release more games per year then PC. Use some logic sometimes, it might help.
