Ive continuosly said to myself " ok next game ill get is wii sports resort" and i said that like 3 games ago. I continuously buy older games rather than the newest release, i just got spyro 1 for the playstation. Its a fantastic platformer and it brings me back to the old days where 3D platformes didnt need excessive amounts of extras to be fun, these days most turn into action/adventure or beatem ups with only a few platforming bits.


I took a NASCAR RIDE ALONG. It was a gift all the way back from christmas that was just being used now. Basically you get to ride in a nascar car for about 3 laps going at 160mph and it was awesome!Ive never experienced something that thrilling before.To clarify one thing though THIS WAS NOT DURING AN ACTUAL RACE. You can also drive the car but thats very expensive but maybe one day ill choose to save up and do it one day.


Ive randomly started playing pokemon blue again, i never actually replayed pokemon games till now cause i would usually try to catch all the pokemon.For exampleI cant play diamond again cause ive done enough hacks and trading to own about 487 of the 493 even though i have all of them in the pokedex data. Anyways it feels really weird plaything through this now, pokemon types like dark and steel dont exist so it creates weird situations like normal attacks doing normal damage on magnemite, or having the attack bite noneffective on ghastly. Its still a blast though to play with a team from the original 150 as squirtle will always be my favorite starter pokemon.


My Best viewed youtube video has recieved quite alot of views so im just gonna say this joke line even though its overused ahem.......ITS OVER 9000!

So its been about 2 weeks since ive experimented 8 Mwith ddr mario mix and i cant get myself into the groove. Its definity a good game but i havent enjoyed it as much as say guitar hero. While both games are using pheriphrials for you to press buttons at the right time to perform reactions making you think you have talent, ddr feels less fun and more exhausting. Its by no means bad, itsjustone of those " its not my type of game" kind of games.

Now then, summer seems to be flying by. Its already been over a month since E3, the next step of wii gaming is nearly here but in the real world today was my college orientation. I will say that even as just an orientation day college feels very different from highschool. Its of course bigger, and i like the idea of taking courses only 2 or 3 days a week as i registered for them. I at least made one new friend today which is always nice. I thought id have more, but this is only the introduction to college.I cant imagine what my 1st day will be like.

After my rant about the youtube beta channel i finally realized why i wasnt trying soinc and the black knight. Not because of critic reviews ( cause those are THEIR opinons, dont make them your own), its because i wasnt liking the change and therefore being somewhat hypocritical. Most of you are probably ready to take that sword and slit the hedgehogs throat with it but hold your swords back.To me itsnot bad, not great but worth a rental when you run out of options. What i find ironic though is that this game is NOSTALGARIFIC. Ive encountered at least 10 references to past sonic games, whether they were quotes or songs (some remade or different renditions of)or items. These includeshadows theme from SA2, knuckles theme from SA1, both versions of sonic's theme from the old SA games, being able to purchase the secret rings as bonus items, sonic mentionning the time he fought final hazard with shadown, and more. The story deserves a little credit too, its occasionally funny, theres a really good plot twist, and since the other soinc characters play storybook character roles this is the only time well ever see amy not being a whiny obsessive girl. The graphics well....i knew they were gonna look good, sega is still one of the very few companies that knows what the wii can really do after all it is more powerful than an xbox and ps2. The gameplay is fun but tiring, i know what youre all thinking "WAGGLE" and you are somewhat correct. You can choose to jump avoid your enemies but it can get really fun to hack and slash. Also you can unlock legacy missions which play like the old sonic games where you homing attack rather than using the sword. 2 more things id like to mention. The final boss fight is spectacular, the storybook series has done really well creating epic and fun boss fights as well as creating variations of a super sonic form. Darkspine sonic was awesome, and so is this sonic with excalibur form. Last thing i want to mention are the extras. These are nice little touches including a dedication to the fans showing some of the artwork fans from japan, europe, and america have drawn, and the artwork of how character models and stage designs came to be.

Overall i think its between what critics average it at and what fans average it at ( so between 5.6 and 7.3). I hope you enjoyed reading.

Everyone knows youtube right? Well if you have an account or like to look at the channel designs ( some people but cool backrounds), youll know that today is the last day of the old channel design. Tommorow they make everyone switch over to the beta channel. People......are......OVEREACTING! 1st off its a beta channel, so theyre still testing it. Its not perminint, they might have it up for only a week or a month. Secondly the people who are hating it arent even trying it, i can respect peoples opinions if they have tried it and they dont like it. I hate when people do that, they like or hate something before they even try it and that goes for games too. 3rdBLACKOUTS are not going to work either. A blackout is when you dont login or dont even go on youtube at all for a certian amount of time. People should be telling the youtube site creators..or editors (whatever you want to call them) why they dont like it rather than blacking out, but o wait half the people who want to black out havent even tried yet!! I understand people dont like change but the truth is its not that bad,its not like it screws up your videos or makes them harder to upload, its a just a new design.Its like what happend with the new xboxexperience, people b*tchedand complained butthe day it came we were fine with it. Its just another thing they we complain about nowbut we can all deal with in the end.

Time for another experiment and rare game. Its time to get my dance moves on with Dance Dance Revolution Mario mix. All i can say is im very uncoordinated but its still very fun, minigames are great too. Also ive been playing skies of arcadia legends for the gamecube which is a really good RPG. I wish it was more popular though because its truly spactacular, its one of my top 5 games. Its like when truly excellent games gets overlooked do to more popular franchises ( even if the popular ones are good). Banjo was overlooked mario and sonic, and this one was probably overlooked because of final fantasy. I could go on and on about this one ( maybe ill make a top 5 someday so i can haha) but i just wanted to give you guys a quick update. How are you guys anways? anything spectacular happen over your 4th of july weekend?

I just wanted to say Happy 4th of july to everyone since well all be really busy tommorow. Some awesome fireworks, maybe a barbeque, chillen with some friends, i hope its a blast for you guys.


BTW i finished marathoning scrubs, done playing punchout even though i missed DK's challenges and pacman on the gba is.....meh. Anyways happy 4th of july!

Summer is finally kicking in for me so i find myself not playing games nearly as much but i did get a few things accomplished. For punchout im am down to 4 boxers with their challenges and then i am done with the game. Donkey kong is going to be a pain in the ass, i figured out how to fight him without stunning him but its a looooooooooong fight.Now i may not be playing as much but i did manage to get a new game, its just a smaller game so i can do other things. Pac-man world 2 for the gameboy advance. I wanted to experiment with this one because sometimes console and portable version are either different in a good way or even better than its console version. Rayman 3 on the gameboy advanced had more of a rayman 2 feeling including some of its music and the classic gibberish talk, crash of the titans on the ds made hijacking mutants fun because they kept the variety but you never needed a certian one to progress. My thoughts on the game so far is that its OK, think little big planet where it has more than one 2D plain to play on. The big problems are that the game uses a password system and when it comes to collecting items in the levels, its either you get all of them or we dont count any of them. You can still move on to the next level butpercentage completion gets f*cked up.

O yeah ive been marathoning scrubs, hilarious show, up to season 5 ( bout 4 episodes a day)

I went to go see the new transformers movie and it was awesome. Everything a sequal should be: bigger, better, and sometimes longer. The action was amazing, the story was deeper, the new transformers were awesome, and the small scenes with humor did more hits than misses. Without spoiling anything i would like to say they should stop here. If you think along the series like Pirates of the carribean, turning this into a trilogy might hurt it more than help it. Great movie, 5 stars, i would recommend it.

18 years ago today sega released their mascot into the world of gaming. Its amazing that if you look at it through a perspective hes kinda lived the lifes that we do. He started young and was adored and praised, had to learn a few things ( like how to adapt to 3d), came across big problems in his teen years, and now he is an adult franchise. Yes I know im saying happy birthday to cartoon fiction hedgehog call me crazy but.........yeah thats all i got, just call me crazy lol

I finished 2 games 100%. The 1st one being Resident evil 5 with all 1000 points, i do not have the DLC so the 250 other ones dont count. The 2nd one is Mario vs Donkey kong Minis march again which got really challeging, with 100 levels it was a download. Now for the main blog, i started playing spore again which is a decent game. The problem was last time i reached the tribe stage and got bored with it, im at the tribe stage again and im going to try and finish the game this time. I was never a big PC gamer, in fact this is the only pc game i have. The problem with spore is that the game starts feeling like more than one game, during the creature stage it felt like action and RPG exploring and fighting other creatures earning DNA like experience points but then the switch to tribe feels more like RTS point and click. Maybei just have to get used to it some more, plus this could be a chance to try other PC games ( i hear rollercoaster typhoon is good) and soon ill adapt, plus i hear some PC versions of games are better than console versions.
