Google isn't being stupid, your search wasn't specific enough. If your 70 gb and 500 gb are ide hdd, search for "install hard drive master slave". If your 500gb is sata and assuming that your hard drive cage can hold another hdd, then install it, format it, use it, alongside your 70gb.
So you think I should get this or should I get HD4870 then later Crossfire?cowboymonkey21
That depends on the size of your monitor. Up to 22 inches i'd recommend the hd4850, and for 24 inches the hd4870. The hd4850 has a better price/performance ratio than its big brother.
It won't run great. The problem is the graphics card. Try to get another 4850 so you can play Crysis on high settings with smooth game play.
A single 4850 is not all that great for Crysis. You might be able to pull of High, but you will has some lagging issues.

A single HD4850 is enough to run Crysis smoothly on all high no AA at 1440x900. I get an average of 44 fps on high at 1280x1024 with my 4850 under XP, and 48 fps with Catalyst AI set to advanced.
Now I disabled crossfire and got an average of about 30 fps which sounds right for one card. But when I enable crossfire Im getting slightly lower results. Snowboarder145
For Crysis, you see a performance gain with Crossfire only at resolutions higher than 1280x1024. So your results are normal.
What are you talking about? Crysis was optimized for *** for ATI and/or crossfire users. I have two HD4850s, and get the performance of an 8800GTX. if not, maybe SLIGHTLY higher. i turned off crossfire, exact same frame-rate.xid32
That's because you probably have a P45 mobo. You would get better performance in Crossfire with an X48.
Cat 8.7 very stable so far on my hd4850 using XP. I've tested Witcher, Crysis, Mass Effect, Heroes 5, Gothic 3, Grid, Stalker and haven't encountered a single problem. The only driver problem i had with the X1950pro was the Witcher with cat 8.5.
