To save a little money, I would get the Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L motherboard, a cheaper case like the Antec 300, Coolermaster RC 590 or RC 690, and a cheaper mouse pad. And 1st choice is better imo.

Where are the profiles saved to, in default? they aren't in the users directory.

xid32

Do a search for the file. If you named the profile xid32, search for "xid32.xml".

You can edit that file with Notepad.

Just make a profile in CCC and save it. After you do that, you can edit the xml file. The xml file will have the same name as the profile you created in CCC.

Did you connect the 2 cards with a Crossfire bridge ?

Did you enable Crossfire in Catalyst Control Center ?

The profile name in CCC is whatever you decide, it doesn't have to be Bretware.

one last question, how do I manually update windows?Flame_Co

Go here: windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

You have to have the Automatic Updates and Background Intelligence Transfer services set to Automatic to do the updates. Once they're completed, you can disable again the Automatic Updates service like shown above. You can manually update Windows once per month.

It could be the Windows Automatic Updates process. link

Start/Run type services.msc then disable the Automatic Updates service

You'll just have to manually update Windows from now on
