The third season of Jessica Jones needs to be really good if it is going to bring me back, as I could not even finish season 2. So poorly written with annoying characters and a really boring antagonist. And JJ herself felt like a one note character who does not seem to grow at all. If Disney somehow can refresh these shows with better writing I am all for it, but that is not likely.
I am very pleased, nothing kills a movie more than being overly cut down to fit a stupid time frame. Justice League was a clear example of rushed out the door without not nearly enough time to develop its characters.
@Brettsky128: Yeah are way too many movies that gets cut to hell trying to hit that silly 2 hour mark. Some movies just needs much more time to develop the characters and the story....
That being said, they should have cut everything in The Last Jedi and just made something better.
Good news, then they will have the time to tell the story right. Way too many movies have been ruined by being too short and cutting out lots of story elements. For instance, Justice League was only like 2 hours long. For an ensemble movie that also introduced 3 new heroes and a villain, there was just no chance for that to be a good movie with that run-time. Just no time for some character development, which that movie really needed.
Just going to try it out to see how bad it actually is. Nothing I have seen so far has really been that positive. The heavy graphics downgrade alone is pretty disheartening for me. The gameplay footage I have seen is not even close to how it looked in the reveal trailer.
I know it is usually like that, but Bioware also specifically stated there would be no downgrade but it is clearly a downgrade. The hub does not have nearly as much life to it from what I have seen, lighting is much worse, the world itself is not as open and littered with annoying loading screens. There is also a distinct lack of life in the world you can explore, nothing like what was shown in the reveal trailer.
I am going to test it you for myself, but damn it looks pathetic in comparison to what they showed back in 2017.
@stephen2532: I might be mistaken but from what I have read is that all games that have been exclusively on steam has been a choice by the devs or publishers themselves and not some exclusivity deal with Valve. They are free to sell their games on other platforms, but they themselves chose to only sell them through Steam. The exception is of course Valves own games being truly exclusive to their store. For instance, one can buy Steam keys through Humble and as far as I know, none of that money goes to Valve.
But Epic on the other hand is specifically making sure that their exclusive games can only be sold through their store, and I guess this means that you can't buy keys for the game on the Epic store through other sites like Humble.
@gvxwastrum: Bioware just don't know how to do hair, it might be a limitation with the engine but both DAI and Andromeda had models with horrible looking hair. So instead of putting in some extra effort they just made all characters have short hair.
