Looks pretty cool, but I am not fond of the blurry backgrounds. Looks like 3D without the glasses.

Right now I only own a gaming PC and a PS4 Pro, but I think all platforms have their strengths and weaknesses.

In my opinion, PC is the best overall gaming platform as it has the biggest gaming library of all of them, and it can deliver the absolute best quality when it comes to graphics and performance. But it all depends on the money you put into it which is a big issue for a lot of people. And you have to deal with the occasional lazy port and poorly optimized games. But if you can afford a gaming PC, you will get the best gaming experience. And games are generally cheaper than on consoles.

The PS4 Pro has the best exclusive games among the consoles, with a very loyal group of exceptional developers who push the console to its limits and delivers some truly amazing gaming experiences. But the console is not as powerful as the competition and while it can play multiplatform games on fairly descent quality, it will not give you the best experience. And the console barely run any of its games at true 4k.

Xbox One X is by far the best console choice for multi platform gaming and 4K if you can't afford a gaming PC. It also has a 4k bluray player which is a big bonus and of course it has backwards comparability for a lot of old games. Some have even been partially remastered for 4k, such as RDR. And the gaming pass seems like a really good deal to me. But among the consoles it has the worst library of exclusive games, as it barely have any as mostly all of them come to PC anyways.

The Nintendo Switch also has some really great exclusive games, many which are considered masterpieces. But most of them are just from specific franchises doing their new iterations for every console generation. The Switch have started opening its doors to more multiplatform titles, but the quality the console delivers on these games is the worst on the market. But the console also has one big thing going for it, and that is the portable aspect. If you are on the move a lot, then the Switch is the right choice.

I am actually planning on getting a Xbox One X when it goes on sale as I really want a 4k bluray player and the game pass seems like a really good deal to me. And I really want to play Red Dead Redemption again, but I really can't deal with the shitty old versions fro X360 and PS3.

I don't think you are supposed to take these Deadpool movies that seriously. I am no comic book reader so I don't know much about how it is in the comics. But to me, Deadpool is sort of a parody on superheros in general, just that it is sort of set in the X-men movie timeline in this case. Since Deadpool can break the fourth wall they can essentially do anything with the character. For instance, if Disney does acquire Fox then they can just mash him into the MCU and just have him make a quip about it and I would be fine.

And the X-men timeline is already completely broken, as soon as you start to mess with time travel it will always lead to paradoxes and confusing plot points that don't really make sense. So just don't take it all too seriously and just go with the flow.

I recently finished The Last Guardian and man I wanted to love that game, but it was so freaking frustrating that when it ended I did not really feel much for the story, I felt more relief that it was over than anything else. The story and the journey as a whole is great, and the animations and such for the Trico is truly something to behold. But the gameplay to me was so frustrating that it made the game more of a chore than something fun. To see it on the list and not the Shadow of the Colossus remake is very odd to me. A far better game imo.

I am currently playing Horizon Zero Dawn and I once again really want to love the game, but I can't help but feel bored fast as there seems to be nothing to be gained in it. I have all of these resources but nothing to use them on. The progression in the game is just terrible with the worst quest rewards in an open world RPG that I have ever played. Where is the armor and weapon drops? I could buy the best armor I have found just 10 hours into the game. Right now the story is the only thing keeping me going.

I also recently bought Monster Hunter World and that game is like the opposite, with a very lackluster story with probably the worst lip-syncing I have seen in a while. But the progression in that game is just so good, and I am enjoying it way more than HZD right now.

God of War is probably my favorite PS4 game so far, followed by Uncharted 4. Those games are the best balance between gameplay and story imo. But Witcher 3 is my favorite game on this list, but I play that on PC, as I do with most of the multi platform games.

@ronaldmcreagan: To each their own but UC4 is by far the best game in the series for me. First thing I did when I got a PS4 was play through the whole series and UC4 felt like just a giant leap above the rest to me. Not only in the graphics department, but I enjoyed the gameplay more and surprisingly I enjoyed the story more, even without the supernatural aspect of it.

@chessic:I think that change in tone was great for this story and more importantly for Kratos as a character. He was kinda one dimensional and brutish in the old games, and well he was not exactly a good person in any way. His sense of regret in this new God of War made the story so much better because of how he was before. This story really could not have been done without his backstory.

And personally I hate this notion that you have to relate to a character to enjoy the story. I am no father or a godlike warrior, so of course I can't relate to Kratos. Not that I could really relate to Joel either as I stated, I am not a father so I can't know how that kind of loss really feel. But that does not stop me from feeling for the characters and caring about the story it is telling. Both stories do something that makes them amazing, and that is how the relationship between the two main character develop. And something I think GoW did a bit better than in TLoU is how Atreus truly changes throughout the game, but also how much Kratos humself change.

At the beginning of the game, Kratos is very strict, very harsh towards his son. But late in the game they play off each other in many interesting ways. They agree more, Kratos praise his son more, and while Kratos remains a fairly cold and unforgiving character, he does mellow out more in the late game. And I really love how this relationship plays out when it comes to combat too. How Atreus becomes a lot more confident and fights more aggressive with his father. While TLoU had similar progression, it was not as apparent to me as it is in GoW.

I love The Last of Us and it is one of the best story driven games that I have played, but after "finishing" God of War, I have to say it is a better game. Though comparing the two games as a whole is not really fair as they are so different to each other when it comes to the game mechanics themselves. But I enjoyed its story and characters more than I did TLoU, and well I prefer action games more than I do stealth games. So I think it rather comes down to what you prefer in a game than which is better. As TLoU is way more linear and as stated, more stealthy than GoW is.

After about 40 hours I completed the main story of GoW, although I did do a fair share of side stuff before that. And I enjoyed every minute of it. One of the best games i have ever played, and definitely the biggest contender for GOTY this year.

@lionheartssj1: I am surprised it is so high, compared to a lot of MCU movies, it was fairly mediocre. Still fun, but highly overrated.

@CyberEarth: It is a part of the MCU since Tony Stark shows up in the credits, and Tony Stark watches footage from the movie when Phil Caulson shows up at the Stark Tower in Avengers. Oh and William Hurt plays Ross in Civil War etc. They just recast Ed Norton because he apparently was hard to work with or something like that.

My list

1 Avengers

2 Captain America: The Winter Soldier

3 Guardians of the Galaxy

4 Spiderman Homecoming

5 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2

6 Captain America: Civil War

7 Thor Ragnarok

8 Dr Strange

9 Iron Man

10 Avengers Age of Ultron

11 Ant-Man

12 Black Panther

13 Captain America: The First Avenger

14 Thor

15 Thor 2

16 The Incredible Hulk

17 Iron Man 2

18 Iron Man 3

End note: I really like all these movies besides Iron Man 3. It will probably remain on the bottom for the foreseeable future as they really need make a stinker to be worse than Iron Man 3. Something like the quality of The Last Jedi would do it, but I kinda doubt that will happen in the MCU.
