I can only assume that they will shove the work on multiple studios, continuously ask for more funds, and delay the game until they are on the verge of being sued, and then finally release an unplayable, horrid mess.
@OldKye @metroidhunterx @BodyBag22 That is wild speculation at best. The difference between Sony and a group of hackers is that they are a commercial organization. If you think for one second that they are completely at fault, you are blinded by your own entitled views. Sony should have reinforced their security, but it was an oversight at most. Are they a great deal responsible? Yes, but are they the ones that hacked into your information illegally? The answer is no. Do you have evidence that Sony would have let your card float around? Do you have some insane inside information, some VP having a conversation that contained the words "Yeah, if we ever lost these guys' credit card info, I'd totally cover it up"?
Here are a few more examples of crimes you'd apparently be only mildly irritated by: *Automobile theft *Breaking and entering *Black hat attack on your personal computer
I suppose you'd want to place the blame solely on the shoulders of Ford/Chevy, Schlage/Kwikset, and Microsoft/Apple, and that while you "wouldn't be happy", you would at least tolerate any of the people who actually commited the crimes.
@OldKye @metroidhunterx @BodyBag22 Why do you think they never did or never would have used the information they stole to better their situation? Because you had their guarantee? Here, I'll guarantee you that I won't ruin your reputation or your credit score if you'll kindly hand over your social security and credit cards. You've got nothing to lose, right? I've given you my word, after all.
Again, you're defending a group who is willing to steal innocent peoples' information to make a company look bad simply because they (supposedly) do not agree with their methods. Meanwhile, idiots who think that these guys are acting as some sort of Robin Hood remain willfully ignorant to the fact that in the process of "exposing" companies for what they perceive as misdeeds, these hackers have also invaded their privacy, and trampled on their freedoms. I guess have fun being the world's most trusting, and simultaneously moronic person?
@BodyBag22 @metroidhunterx How gracious of them to prove a point by stealing my information without my consent. They didn't do it to prove a point. They didn't even do it just for laughs. They did it for money, and fame. That's all.
@debryson @DuaIFace I didn't realize we were on YouTube, where the excuse "then don't [interact with] it" reigns supreme. There's this little thing called criticism. Everyone's entitled to it, so how about dealing with it? The world isn't made of happiness, sunshine and chocolate flavored snow-flakes, contrary to popular belief.
I don't understand the people who stick up for guys like these. It's a constant power struggle. It's always "the little guy fighting against the corrupt corporations" until the little guy finally becomes the big guy. Then there's a role reversal, and the cycle starts all over again. Trusting these people is like trusting that crazy guy we all know, but don't really like to hang around, because he's creepy and not exactly all there, if you catch my drift. But sometimes that creepy guy's your only alternative. Do you really want to make that gamble?
@RPGFreak90 I'd be willing to be that in addition to the forced DRM for every game for the system, you'd also get a lot of in-game advertisements to keep the servers running in order to accommodate the hundreds of thousands of people playing Xbox simultaneously.
