So does the 360 suck for you lemmings despite it coming last place in Japan? No, you enjoy the console alot despite it coming last place in Japan. Now slowly transfer that logic here to PS3 owners and its American sales. Same effect.

Now bragging about Halo Wars outselling KZ 2, so why not use worldwide sales(the true total sales and not confined to 1 region). KZ 2 outsold Halo Wars in total numbers.

Now for RE5, the PS3 version leads the 360 version if you factor in Japan and European sales.

So why no mention of all that?

because they would just be quiet and dissapointed if they knew how good killzone 2 is worldwide they need something to put over the heads of cows since they have no good games this year and we do.

Killzone 2 sales hit platinum

It looks like Sony has some good news to share with us. The boys and girls over at Sony HQ just issued a press release announcing that Killzone 2 has reached the million sold milestone.

According to press release, Sony is quite pleased with the game's success and believes it will drive further hardware adoption.

"Following the revelation that Killzone 2 became the fastest SCEA title on PS3 to reach 500K sold, Sony today revealed that the critically acclaimed first-person shooter from Guerilla Games has sold over one million copies worldwide. The company pointed to the game as another example of an 'only on PlayStation experience," and noted that it will "continue to drive incentive for hardware sales throughout the year.'"

the article also boasts strong PS2 sales.

But yeah, Killzone 2 sold quite far below my expectations. It's no disaster though; I do think that it has legs and should be able to break a million in the next few months. I do wonder how it's doing worldwide though.
