So how would you describe the transaction mechanism and terms? Leasing? Because you certainly own neither the content nor the systems they run on. This isn't like Amazon Prime or Netflix where of you purchased Infinity War you could play it on a wide variety of devices. If you purchased Bloodborne for instance you can only play it one device and one device alone. So Please Please explain exactly what the transaction model and relationship between Sony and consumer is where the only way to access the game Bloodborne is to pay Sony money in one way or another.

PSNow runs on primarily PS3 blade servers which are literally 8 PS3s stuffed inside a blade server each representing a 1:1 ratio with a client. Essentially you need 1 PS for every 1 client. It’s the same solution MS is using for XCloud. While calling it renting is a stretch the model resembles the same ones shadow and other cloud services employ with the exception that they have agnostic hardware because their software is non exclusive and can be ran of many types of hardware thus in order for the games to run they need to have physical or virtual replicas of the gaming platforms. Essentially in loose layman terms “renting” a virtual console. Its nothing like Netflix which sends streamed data which the client processes locally and decodes.
