The hdmi 1.3 feature is almost useless on the PS3 especially for all those that have a nice hdtv with their ps3 already. Maybe after a couple years it will be normal but I don't think it's going to make PS3 games look any better then xbox 360 games. Also, whoever linked the 65 dollar 100gb harddrive. That thing is 5400 rpm. Xbox harddrives are 7200 rpm

though: if you wan't a bluray player, the PS3 is the better deal.

I think framerate is more important than gameplay as well as graphics. If a game constantly drops down to the 20's and under, it is doesn't matter even if the gameplay was excellent. I'm satisfied with 30 as long as the developers push the games as hard as they can and make the framerate constant. I've never been to picky about graphics for example: I've had a gaming pc since late 2004 and the game I played the most on it was Warcraft 3. I may have played WoW for more but hopefully not.

It seems like all new games are going way over the top on motion blur. I played lost planet on the pc, which I had to move to the lowest setting imaginable which honostly did not look that much differen't from the highest, and I only gained about 10 more fps but the motion blur seemed unreal in the bad way. It doesn't look bad but...

When an Xbox gets three red lights. What is being fried? If it is a part in the motherboard, do they actually repair the motherboard or do they replace it. If it was replaced I think that they would not give you an old board. The cpu and gpu are built in, correct? Also, have there been plans for microsoft to address the scratching issue?

If you have an Xbox 360 and it dies after the 65 nanometers are out and you send it to microsoft, the new one should have the new processor correct? If so, it doesn't seem important to wait.

Does the lip synching technology have to be on the display as well or is it just have to be on the dvd player/reciever. I have a hdmi 1.2a tv obviously but it seems like this is the most important feature for me.

Press MENU, click external inputs. Go to either 6 or 7 at least thats what they are on my tv. Look behind the tv and there will be a number next to the port you plugged the cable into.
