I like the PS3 version a lot better. If you have an HDMI cable, set the PS3 to Full Color Range...or something like that. The colors look so much better and because it's HDMI 1.3 and not 1.2 (360 Elite) the game is sharper and crisper. If you have a surround sound system, the PS3 will sound better with it's uncompressed audio...I think the PS3 makes up for a little less Anti-Aliasing.dream431ca

You happen to have a hdmi 1.3 fully supported display? If not then your cable will do nothing to improve the visual quality of your games over a elite.

well generally pc gamers always put gameplay > graphics. just look at how many pc gamers keep playing old games time and time again.

what you just said made me realize the hypocrisy of lemmings/cows - most of them in the previous gen kept on saying graphics doesn't matter, itz the gampelay, but now they look down on wii because of that

Are you sure you know enough pc gamers, lemmings and cows (intersting you say pc gamers instead of hermits) to make that opinion? Halo 2 has more live activity than numerous 360 games with superior graphics which makes me believe that they are not playing Halo 2 for its visuals. Even if your statement is true, then why do people always mention how Bioshock can play at higher resolutions and faster framerates on a pc? The fact that the posters usually combine mod support (I am looking forward to some of the great mods that pc gamers are expecting for Bioshock) to their reasons for pc superiorty, along with better visuals, is irrelevant.

I was just playing the call of duty 4 beta on my 360 and i was wondering what the wii owners think about call of duty 4 since i;m pretty sure its not coming out on the wii.

Shinno441

I played the demo on my bro's 360 and honestly, I don't care at all, it's another FPS and I've never been too interested in those, I like how it's breaking from wwII but other than that I don't care.

I'm sure that you really paid attention to all the interesting features without paying attention to the fact that it was a beta not a demo.

I haven't gotten that far in Bioshock yet, but two levels that immediately spring to mind are the cliff side from the first Half-Life, and the part in the first Half-Life where you first emerge from underground into the hangar, those were the two most challenging, nonmulti-player fire-fights I've ever experienced. I'd like to add, that I've never seen anything in a game (or in a movie for that matter) that blew me away like the first glimpse at Rapture after that film strip, the music, the voice acting, the graphics, and the design just all came together so perfectly.

Yeah...the game got me when I first entered the lighthouse and heard Django Reinhardt playing...just amazing.

I was hit with the awesome before the plane crashed. Everything after that was just as good.

My parents said I was special..... Son, youwill do great things.......

They were right.

Did you read what it said on the package.

try exiting demo. Starting it again. If that doesn't work, try it again. That happened to me today and a couple days ago. Btw: Not really a System Wars topic.

That shot looks more photorealistic than any Crysis shot that I have seen so far. This is comming from someone without a ps3 and not going to get Crysis. I do not think that the gameplay graphics will hold up to that standard. Is that even a 3d shot? For all we know, the only thing that isn't real-time is the car if that even is real-time. It does look better than Forza 2 (from the video I saw of GT5) but I think that Forza 2 looks great too. I wish that they bumped down the framerate to 45 and added a little more AA however.

For $50 you can easily setup your PC so it can be switched at will between your 50" TV and aPC monitor.jdp0412

Wow! Only $50. That price reminds me of something else that a large majority consider way overpriced. Yet I probably enjoy that more then the enjoyment I would get from a switch.

If you have tried playing the PC on a large screen tv, do you consider it comfortable. If you mention that you don't have to use a keyboard & mouse when using the pc on a large tv, then that undermines importance of the feature that hermits consider to be the only way to play the most popular games on their system.

I used to be a hermit and disliked most of the consoles except for nintendo. Then I realize that I get most of my enjoyment froma game with a 5 year dated engine (when I could be playing anything out now, except supreme commander on high settings. I knew I would have to upgrade soon in order to enjoy Crysis but then decided that it wasn't worth it to me. So I went to the xbox 36. The only graphical feature that I care about is the framerate. A great framerate doesn't make a game more enjoyable then an average one (30ish) but a sluggish one can ruin the game.
