Metal shears off at higher-than-breaking-point tensions. You ever screw a screw in too tight with a drill? Look at the underside of it and you will see a clean cut - doesn't mean it was with a knife ( or in this case explosives like det-cord).

i have bothe quick charge and play and charge and would recomend quick charge as i have had 2 battery packs break from the play and charge kit.

I have read this twice now. How long did you use the Charge & Play before it "broke" a pack? I have had mine now for 1-1/2 years and it works fine.

So, I bought an Xbox Arcade off craigslist that was "new" because this family had a broken Xbox (20gb I'm guessing), sent it in to Microsoft and I guess they got impatient and bought a new Arcade from target. Well, they got a letter saying Microsoft was sending a new one so they decided they'd sell the Arcade. Enter me. I go buy the Arcade, which they supposedly hadn't played, get back to find the power brick doesn't fit the console. After doing some research I found that my power brick belonged to a Jasper console. Now, this was an honest mistake on their part, they figured that the brand new one from microsoft would be the same as the Arcade version they got from target if they just took the hard drive out of the Microsoft one, fair logic I suppose. Now, they said they'll trade the consoles because theirs works fine with the new Xbox and old power brick, but isn't that power brick putting out different wattage? Are they damaging it by doing that? If they are I don't really want it because who knows what it did to the console or power brick, but if it's fine....well, you get it. So yea, any advice would be appreciated, this is my first post and I joined because you guys probably know best.captainmccool

A bit confusing. Ok, lemme see if I got this right: they have a new Jasper from Microsoft and they gave you a non-Jasper WITH the Jasper power-brick. Now they want to switch consoles? Why not just switch power-bricks?

I guess, if you trust em, and you TEST the console before you take it to make sure it works then you can do that to get the Jasper, but the big caveat from that will be you won't be able to take THAT one in if it RRoDs. The safer bet sounds to keep the arcade, but get the proper power-brick for it.

i log into wifi connection which is nintendos free service,

i get free service 24 7 365 ,, , no forced dlc , to play multiplayer , ,

and i never get disconnected,

i go on psn ,, , home is full of bugs but psn it self, never disconects me ,

if sony released cards for psn store /nationwide id buy dlc on that in a heart beat

but since their not every where,

i get stuck paying for multiplayer im about to quit to many trash talkers-dont get that on the wii or ps3 either lol\
