@mooglestar: We're already in outer space with 3 movies left to go. A volcano would be positively quaint by that point. Maybe unless it's a super volcano filled with nukes on a hyper-advanced alien planet, in the process of being swallowed by a dying black hole.
I'm convinced at this point the whole FF series is building up to an announcement from Mark, that Fast & Furious shares a universe with and is a prequel to Chronicles of Riddick.
@daidochus: Well we do have competition now. That much is just obvious from looking at the gaming landscape in 2023, and we're drowning in the evidence for it, as much as cynical teenagers love claiming the opposite.
Multi-billion-dollar global corporations devouring other multi-billion-dollar global corporations, isn't something that governments need to provide “some backup” for.
In fact it's something that almost always leads to less competition/innovation. MS just bought one of the top 10 players in gaming 2 years ago, and now they want to buy another, when they themselves are already #2 in that list right behind Sony. How on earth can you think there's no competition? This is so obviously going to be bad for the consumer.
“Competiton” doesn't mean talking whatever nonsense ensures your favourite horse wins.
