GameSpot, why do you keep amplifying this crook's voice? He's probably the most infamous liar in the entire industry. And he's not a politician, so you can't even argue that his lies are relevant. Stop giving him a platform. At least pretend to have some integrity as journalists, for god sake.

Yeah this was the question I had. And the next question, why? And the next one, is that even legal? I thought these games had a significant offline portion? And what about those same games that made it to Steam like Hitman GO ? Will they be unplayable? So many questions...
As monumentally indifferent as I feel towards Ubisoft's latest assassin-themed talking and walking simulator, and as much as I think 30% is too big a cut on Steam's part, I'm glad to see Ubisoft's attempts at independence fail.

Not only in popularity, but the only thing that even comes close is GOG, and that's not even fair, since GOG's entirely DRM-free.
