@racerxgundam @MAD_AI HAHA PC's with emulators and indie and MMOs and mods and higher settings multi-displays at insane res's and 3D gaming will smoke any and all consoles added together
@BamaGoatt @neroist @Slade968 @Clownbabby Cool if your happy then money well spent. But just search Steam account bans. And know that those purchases are cheap for a reason. They are not your games. Steam purchases are kinda like someone buying an X1 cause its cheap.
@BamaGoatt @neroist @Slade968 @Clownbabby Yes there are many other palces to buy games than Steam that let you keep what you buy. And make changes to the files without fear of losing all your games for one incident.
@BamaGoatt @neroist @Slade968 @Clownbabby Steam is one of the harbingers of DRM. They have good standing but make anti-consumer modules for others to follow. They prove that people will buy into not owning their games. When even EA will let you own your game. That's bad.
I don't understand why people don't think things through. You are renting a game for an indeterminate time with Steam.
@BamaGoatt @neroist @Slade968 @Clownbabby With the Steam dll.s and other things a lot of those games simply will not work or constantly crash. Once you download a game's installer file on Origin you can keep it forever and reinstall as much as you like. Not so with Steam you get no installer and lack the steam version support files that let run the game.
Steam made those commitments back 2006 and things have changed since HL2.
@mjswooosh @sladakrobot and don't forget the mandatory Kinect being on and collecting your data and "using it" to other companies without informing you who, what , where, and when.
