Why do people say this wont be a gaming console? Their release was kind of crappy, totally agree, but how does having other features not make it a gaming console first and foremost? Just b/c they didn't show games?

Aren't the other features just bonuses for people that want to use it as more? I mean, just cause sony didn't talk about them doesn't mean they don't have a decent amount of multimedia features, especially since they make the majority of their money off the entertainment industry and not electronics.

I'm not sold on either xbox of ps4, I just don't understand the argument of xbox not being for gamers. seems just like the other features are the sprinkles on top of their ice cream.

@johnny0779 When have they outwardly stated you can't share game discs? I thought all it did was make it so that you can't play the digital copy of your game on your xbox because it associates the code with your friend who now has the disc? Then when they give the game back to you, you put the disc back in your system and it re-associates it with your account.

This would be how it's shared now. You give your disc to your friend, you can't play. They give it back and you can. Nothing new.

Also, doesn't he say that you don't need internet to play single player stuff?

I'm not sold on Xbox One either, but I am not seeing how everyone is making these claims about no used or trading with friends and always on connections require to do all of the things.
