You basically answer your own question since Halo 3, Guitar Hero 3 and Forza 2 all will be available in a couple of months (Forza 2 is already out).

Killzone 2 (which was recently presented as a pre-pre-alpha (!)) and GT5 probably won't be out for quite some time - probably late next year at best when it comes to GT5.

If you want a great selection of great games to play this autumn go for the 360.

Yeah... the games you want for: PS3 Lair will be out soon. Killzone 2 is next year. GTHD is free but you've have to wait until next year for GT5. Resistance would likely fill your Killzone void along with Haze and Unreal this year. Rachet and Clank, Heavenly Sword and Drakes Fortune are also set for this year.

I honestly can't decide...... Xbox Live beats PSN. But PSN is free. I'm excited for KZ2, Lair and GT5 on PS3, but at the same time, I want to play Halo 3, Guitar Hero 3, and Forza 2.

Graphics wise, It is starting to show that PS3 is more powerful (i.e. Killzone 2)

I think the clincher for PS3 may be Blu-Ray since HD-DVD is gunna flop.

Guitar Hero 3 will be on the PS3 also. I'd also suggest if you go the 360 route you just go with the premium unless you plan ondownloading all sorts of hd movies.

Bluray,wifi, bluetooth, tilt controllers all things I dont freaking want. Honeslty if these features are soo amazing why arent more PS3s being sold I would like toknow...seems kind of like the majority of the public doesnt care about bluray or any of those of feel good features you guys brag about. And a better game line up than what? 360 and wii are getting very good games equal if not better than the few good games (killzone,mgs,ff,r&C) that PS3 is getting. PS3 a better choice lol if you are an audio/videophile

For $50 more you don't have to worry about your game crashing or getting three red lights.

for anyone whining about the live fee for MS -- take a look at articles that show how much your PS3 costs to run each month in electricity bills.

clue: it's considerably more than the 360, and over a year it's way more than the cost of live.

one article stated that if you're running folding@home constantly your hydro bill will spike by over 7.30 USD$ per month. keep in mind this isn't indicative of gameplay - folding uses slightly less power than playing games.

1. You don't need to use folding home if you don't want to.

2. No one is going to be thinking about their electric bill when selecting a system for their family. They might think about online play though.
