2. I never said a game console alone gets anyone a girl. I said a gaming console, specificaly the PS3 with its Blu-ray feature, impresesses a girl better than the 360 or Wii.

Guys don't need consoles to impress girls.

Read carefully, man. It's not about using the PS3 to get a girl. It's about the PS3 having a feature the other consoles lack. A very important feature when it comes to impressing a girl.

1. You deny the existence of Blu-ray.

Still the PS3. You can still cuddle to a movie and be intimate after you have kids, right? A wife does feel good that her husband brings home the BEST movies.

And if she does, chances are also she's not reluctant (to say the least) to the idea of hi-def gaming, so the 360 wouldn't be in such a horrible handicap. I'd still go for Wii as the best option anyway - it's jolly, silly fun with them Wiisports, and getting someone to loosen up, laugh and play like a little kid is always a good step forward.

Then again, the whole argument is kinda moot. I don't think the whole idea of using gaming consoles as pick-up props is very good, and any attempt at doing so before it becomes irrelevant will most likely end up feeling creepy.

A gaming console is not a pick up prop. It's just one of the ways you might impress a girl with.

Any girl who'd be impressed by what console you own is a little too easily impressed an most likely not worth having, oh and probably under-age.JTH_22

She's not just impressed with the console you have. She's impressed that you allow her to watch the "BEST" movies with you, in the privacy of your place. There's nothing wrong with that, if you've shown her that you are a very nice guy.

Hmm. All the guys seem so nice. But that PS3 guy must be pretty well off, having the most powerful console on the market that can also play the best versions of the movies, too. I am definitely more impressed with that PS3 guy. Hopefully he'll call me so we can cuddle at his place and watch another Blu-ray movie.
