im sorry tc. but the WII has received all of that "im impressed" look on all the many girls i know. not one of them mentioned watching a blue ray movie on ps3. hell, they dont even recognize its existence.

girls dont need your BD player when they could go out to theatres with their men. + most people have DVD's and theyre working perfectly fine right now.

Well, I did write that the girl likes the Wii more than the PS3 or 360. But I still stand by what I said: a girl is much more likely to be impressed with a PS3 owner than the other owners.

In terms of watching movies in the Theatres vs. watching a Blu-ray movie at home on a decent HD-TV, I think if a girl likes you and wants to be your girl friend, believe me watching at home is much better: more privacy. Sure DVD works fine, but with Blu-ray, you can say to her: I like you so much, I get you the best version of this movie on the market. Chicks like it when you honestly tell them that you give them the BEST of anything.

Hmm. All the guys seem so nice. But that PS3 guy must be pretty well off, having the most powerful console on the market that can also play the best versions of the movies, too. You didn't talk about the main idea: The PS3 impresses a girl more.

She may play the 360 or the Wii more than the PS3. But most likely, she loves movies more. The PS3 also has lots of games to enjoy as well. So chances are, she'd rather do two things with a guy than just one thing; with the PS3, she can play games AND watch the "Best" movies with you. With the 360 or the Wii, there's no AND. She can only game with you.

This is a gaming site. Gamers do have a life outside of games. Movies and games are very compatible anyway, in a sense that they are both viewed on the same screen.

You also have another symptom of Blu-ray envy: Saying that Blu-ray should not be discussed in this forum, even though it is a major feature of the PS3.

The Wii is the only console for girls, otherwise they couldn't give a .... about games. Thats a fact.

Women, through evolution are taught to go for guys that can provide food, shelter, etc. for her. In this day and age, material goods can signify to a girl how well the guy can provide for her. It's in her DNA.

Another symptom of Blu-ray envy: hating the owner of a blu-ray player.

To a girl, it's better to be with a guy who's obsessed with games AND movies (PS3) than a guy's who's obsessed with games only (360).
