Both TERA and TSW will probably follow suit. Frankly I find TOR to be better than the both of them and I can't imagine why anyone would justify $15/month for them now.
What it's going to boil down to is this: people are going to pay $15 for WOW and then decide what other F2P mmo they'll spend the rest of their time
In fairness Blizzard has done a good job letting the competition catch up. Neither Cataclysm nor the upcoming Mists offered/offers much in terms of new content. Just 5 levels and a few dozen quests in microscopic sized zones. A large share of their content has been recycled crap, and they already have the slowest patching schedule in the industry. When MoP drops in two months it will make almost a full year since Blizzard has made a content patch.
The tragedy here is that the genre needed TOR to be a success because Blizzard needs competition, they have grown lazy and stale and they've sucked the life out of MMO's
