i know that i5 430m is better than the p8700 in architecture and performance wise too it is slightly better than the p8700.i also visit notebookcheck.net's cpu benchmark lists regularly.as mostly guys posting in these forums ask about performance in games i told that the gtx 260m is more in raw power than the gts 360m and the difference between p8700 and the core i5 430m is not noticeable in games.there is no such thing as futureproof in laptop as you have no room for upgradability. please note that i have the p8700 and over 78 processes running(thanks to sony and their junkware, though i found many of them useful) and currently running mass effect 2 at 1600.900 maxed out with no lag whatsoever

the i5 430m is not faster than the p8700.maybe if it was a i5 5xxm series then the i5 would have been far better.and the gtx 260m is slightly better than the gts 360m.if your intention is to use it is a gaming laptop go with the gtx 260m

hey i skipped the system check and the benchmark ran fine on all the browsers.opera 10.50beta beats 4.0.289.49 in the peacekeeper results.

OPERA:3781 points

CHROME:3562 points

note that in the comples graphics section opera scored 9648 points while chrome scored just 6115 points.huge difference guys.opera's karakan engine seems to be doing the work nicely.in sunspider's java script benchmark too opera edged out chrome.

ok guys i have been using chrome for quite a long time and decided that it would be the fastest for some time.but it seems that opera is getting a lot better with the 10.50 beta.i just thought i will give it a try and found that it was actually better than chrome in the sunspider javascript benchmark.so what do you guys think about this.is opera really faster than chrome?

the gt 300m series has been released for mainstream graphics for notebooks.the gt330 is nothing but the gt 240m relabelled and though it has higher clocks the performance is only on par with gt240m.and no dx11 support for the released gt300m series
